Pets are not allowed

We both looked at each other and read the sign again. I sighed. And yes, they're my grandchildren.

"It's okay. Leave them to me as long as you want."

"Talaga?"

He chuckled. "Ayaw mo?"

He stopped it with his body, pero yung kamay niya, nasa loob na since hawak nga niya si Snow.

When the elevator completely opened, we both saw Dra. Dela Rosa. She was giving us a cold stare. It was creepy.

Bad news: She's a pediatric surgeon.

Bad news: She likes Apa.

Bad news: She hates me.

Apa and I both greeted her, but I couldn't look at her. Apa was just calm and chill like nothing's wrong with us entering in his condo. It's a good thing... I guess?

"Are you living together? Alam niyong bawal yan, diba? I can report-"

I shook my head. "No, no. Bawal kasi yung pets sa dorm namin. Dr. Hizon just offered a helping hand and let them stay with him." Tinaas ko si White, but she gave me a disgusting look.

Dammit. Deep inside, I was rolling my eyes at her. Bad trip.

He looked at Apa like a jealous girlfriend. Or should I say, intern?" She glanced at me and looked back at him. "How generous of you, Dr. Hizon." Did she just speak fluent sarcasm? Before she left the elevator, she even told Apa, "I don't do special treatments, Dr. Hizon. I don't like special treatments."

We both mimicked her, but we never stopped laughing.

I shook my head, still smiling. "Tsk. Ano ba kasing pinakain mo doon?"

He was grinning like a fool.

I just rolled my eyes. How conceited! Nagtatawanan pa rin kami. Nakakatawa kasi talaga yung expression ni Dra. Dela Rosa. Para talaga siyang nagseselos.

She almost freaked out. She didn't know what to do plus she was flustered.

I slowly shook my head and tapped his back. "No, dude. Tanders ka na."

"Gwapo naman." He winked and tapped my back, too, kaya nag kunwari akong nasusuka. Aware pa rin siyang gwapo siya!

These past few days, masaya lang ako. Well, unang una, okay kami ni Apa. We rarely see each other, but we're okay.

In fact, bumait nga silang lahat sa'kin. One time, a nurse even brought me coffee and apologized to me. It was so awkward since I didn't even know her!
