Zoe's POV

"Zoe!" I quickly run down the stairs.

"Yeah?"

"You have a visitor." My mother opens the front door wider so I can see who it is.

"Ashton?" I walk to the front door and my mother carefully watches me. "Mother, this is Ashton. I'm tutoring him." She instantly relaxes.

"I won't bother you two then."

"Why are you here?" I look up at him as soon as my mother is out of the room.

"My mum found out we didn't actually study yesterday so she sent me over here." I yawn and nod.

"Alright." I rub my eyes. I step out of his way and he comes inside.

"Tired?" I nod my head.

"I only just got up." I grab his wrist and lead him over to the stairs. "We'll be upstairs!" My mother mumbles something and I'm not bothered to find out what.

I take him to my room. I have no idea what to do with him.

"Cute room." He looks around at the pink walls and cutes-y stuff.

"Don't remind me. I hate pink." He goes over to my shelves with all my photos as pull my books out. "Do you think you could start looking over my notes while I go and shower?" He nods his head and sits at my desk. Why is he acting like yesterday never happened?

I grab my clothes I'm going to change into and head for my bathroom. I mean, he got yelled at by his friends. Does he not remember that?

I strip down and get into the shower. I got up and left. Does he not remember that I didn't come back? What about Luke? Luke didn't go back either. I quickly shower and hop out. I don't want him to get distracted while I'm not there. I dry myself off and put my fresh clothes on.

I storm out to my bedroom to see Ashton sitting exactly where I left him. Thank god. I pull the office chair he's sitting on back.

"What are you doing?" He tears his eyes away from the paragraph he's reading.

"Ashton why did you act like a prick yesterday and then come to my house expecting everything would be fine?" He looks down.

"Ah, sorry."

"Ashton! I want an explanation!"

"It's just the way I act around my friends."

"Bullshit." I don't usually swear, especially not at home.

"Fine!" He closes his eyes to calm himself down.

"Zoe, I don't want you hanging out with my friends. They're my friends. My band. I can't have you distracting them. You're my tutor. We shouldn't even all be in the same room together." Oh. Alright. I fall back onto my bed.

"Luke said he's my friend." I mumble. I can't even look at him. I've never met someone like him. How can he be so rude? "I think you should leave." I head to my door and open it for him. He stands.

"Really, Zoe?" I ignore him and look anywhere but at him. This is why I don't like people. He slowly walks past me.

"You can let yourself out."

Ashton's POV

Yesterday was hell. My friends all yelled at me for treating Zoe like shit. She knew she wasn't supposed to be there with us and yet she still came. I knew she left, I could see her walking away. It really annoyed me when Luke got up and went after her. She can handle herself.
