Chapter 22-Old Same People

"Ah! Captain!" Everyone shifted their eyes to the groundfield entrance, as Miyuku walked in putting his mitt on his hand

"Yo!" He greeted with his usual smirk as he approached them

"Where did you go?!" Asanuma asked hastily handing him his head gear "you supposed to be here and greet the captain of the other team"

"Well, just a little bit of detour, seeing some old friends. Besides, I'm not late. They are just too early. Also, there's still enough time before the game, and both team have their members still in their classes, right?"

"Time to time you really are a laid-back person, Miyuki"

"Yo, Sanada. And I assume the people with you are the new captain and vice captains?"

Sanada introduced the new captain and vice captains of their school baseball team and as formality they just shook hand and left, but Sanada remained, confusedly looking at Miyuki

"Did something happen between you two?" Sanada asked confusedly. He crossed his arms and sighed "It's been five years since I last saw her, but the Temari-chan now is somehow different."

"Who knows? I was dumped multiple times and again when she just returned" Miyuki smirked scratching the back of his neck

"Wah, seriously?! I knew that you were rejected before, but again?! Oi, oi, are you okay?"

Miyuki laughed from Sanada's reaction and tapped his shoulder "don't mind me. It's pissing me off, but the Temari right now is different from before. Seriously, she's hard to catch, that girl. But don't worry about it. Also personal matter is not included during games, so let's focus now on the game"

Miyuki left him and headed to his teammates, but Sanada smiled to himself

"Can't be help, what a hard road for Miyuki. But I'll support the two of you"

"It's really Mari-chan" Fuyune and Maaya said in chorus while pinching her cheeks

"Come on, Shunpei-kun already pinched my cheeks, so please be gentle with me!" Temari chuckled. The three of them headed to a nearby café to talk. They let Temari sat at the middle, and the two were still in daze, couldn't believe that she was in front of them

"So, when did you return?" they asked in chorus

"Two weeks ago. I actually wanted to meet the two of you, but I didn't know how" Temari sipped her smoothie then gasped "oh yeah, Maaya, you and Shunpei-kun?!"

"Ah that, well we started going out on the Valentine's Day during second year of University" Maaya answered as her face turned into red

"Hear this Mari-chan, actually, she's being a tsundere towards Shunpei. And actually, she went out with Kuramochi, that was when Shunpei finally realized his feelings towards Maaya" Fuyune explained then giggled "but now, Kuramochi and Azumi-chan, Shunpei and Maaya, how about Mari-chan?"

"You see, let's leave myself in the end. I want to hear what happened to the two of you"

"Well, not much for me, I moved to Korea after the graduation. I return to Japan every year. I am taking Four year accountancy and I'm graduating next year. I'm planning something actually, but I'll tell you two about that when I already finalize it" Fuyune answered then looked at Maaya

Maaya pouted her lips and sighed in disbelief "well, after graduation, I attended the same school with Shunpei. But I honestly didn't know, that he was there, we were both surprised. I am taking graphic designs and I am also graduating next year"
