Chapter 60

Colton's POV

Bella was busy today so I decided to hang out with my friends. I grabbed my phone and called Brayden.

"Hello?"

"Hey, do you guys want to hang out today?"

"Wow, I had no idea you knew we were still alive!"

"Sorry bro, I've just been a little busy."

"I get it bro, hoes before bros."

"No, it's bros before ho-"

"I know what I said. We're all at the park, come join us." I smiled and hung up. I told my mom where I was going and ran downstairs. I ran down the street to our normal park and saw my friends sitting on the playscape.

"Hey guys!" I said, climbing up to join them.

"Hey." They said unenthusiastically. They talked for a while and I just sat there. I hadn't hung out with them in so long, I had no idea what was going on.

"So, school is almost here. We're going to be juniors!" I said.

"Yup." They said and continued their conversation. I shrugged and pulled out a cigarette. I was almost out. I put it in my mouth and lit it.

"Colton, what the fuck!" Amanda exclaimed.

"You guys don't mind if I smoke, right?" I asked.

"Since when the fuck do you smoke?" Brayden asked.

"Bella got me into it a few days ago."

"Well go over there and do it! That shit stinks!" Cassie exclaimed. I sighed and walked over to the tree, leaning against it and smoking. Once I was done, I just went back to my house. They didn't want me anyway.

Later that night, Bella informed me that her parents left and brought me to her house.

"Look what I got!" She smiled, getting out of bed and shaking a bag filled with white powder.

"W-What is that?"

"Cocaine." She said simply.

"Isn't that stuff super dangerous and addicting? I don't do that kind of stuff."

"Come on you baby!" She exclaimed, sitting on the bed and getting everything set up. She snorted a line and then handed the rolled up dollar bill to me. I sighed and bent down, snorting the line

It was such an intense high, I didn't know what to do with myself. I stayed at her house for a few hours until the high wore off and she took me home.
