Chapter 109
Colton's POV
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner with me tonight?" I asked Cassie on the phone.
"Dinner?"
"Yeah. We haven't had an official date and I want to treat you before I have to start paying rent." I chuckled.
"Okay, what time?"
"Seven, wear something nice." I smirked.
"Okay." She said and hung up.

A few hours later, I started getting ready. I jumped in the shower, doing what I needed to do before getting out and drying off. I went back to my room and pulled on a black, button down shirt and some black jeans. I put on my all black converse and went back into the bathroom. I brushed my hair and my teeth, smiling at myself in the mirror. I went downstairs and grabbed my keys.
"Where are you going looking all nice?" My mom asked.
"I'm going out to dinner."
"Who's the girl."
"If things go well tonight, I'll bring her home." I winked. I walked out the door before she could say anything else and drove to the store to grab her some flowers before heading to Cassie's house. She still lives with her parents and plans to until she graduates and finds a job.
I pulled into her driveway and got out, walking up to her door. I knocked, putting my hands behind my back to hide the flowers I had gotten her.
"Hey Colton." She smiled, opening the door. She was so beautiful. She had on a knee length, black dress which had lace sleeves that went all the way to her wrists. The entire dress was covered in a floral lace pattern but the fabric covering her shoulders and arms was see through. She had on three inch black heels which got her a little closer to my height.
"Wow, you look beautiful." I smiled.
"Well, you don't look so bad yourself." She giggled.
"These are for you." I said, revealing the flowers.
"Colton! You shouldn't have! These are beautiful. Let me put them inside." She said, running into her house. She came back out a minute later, closing the door behind her. I grabbed her hand and led her out to my car. I opened her door and she thanked me, climbing into my car. I closed the door and ran around to my side, getting in. I turned the car on and pulled out of the driveway, driving to the restaurant. Halfway through the ride, I grabbed her hand, intertwining her fingers with mine. She smiled at me and leaned over, kissing my cheek.
We made it to the restaurant and I turned off the car. We got out and I grabbed her hand again as we began to walk inside.
"Hi, table for two." I requested. The hostess smiled at us and grabbed two menus, leading us through the restaurant until we finally got to an empty table set for two. Cassie sat down and I pushed her chair in. She thanked me and I sat down in my own chair. We picked up our menus and began to look at what we wanted. The waiter dropped by and introduced himself, taking our drink orders before disappearing again.
We decided what we wanted and talked until the waiter came back. We ordered food and continued to talk. Surprisingly, we had so much to talk about even though we talk everyday.
After dinner, we got back in the car and I began driving.
"So, I think I want to finally tell my parents. Do you mind if we stop by my house before I take you home?"
