Caitlyn's POV

*One Month Later*

Colton was coming home today for the weekend and I was nervous. We've hid my pregnancy from him for five months because I'm scared of how he will react. It's finally getting to the point where it's a little hard to hide, so I decided today was the day.

"I'm home!" I heard Colton call. I took a deep breath and stood up, walking out of my room. I began down the stairs, watching him and my parents reunite.

"Hi Colton." I said.

"Hi Cait-WHAT THE FUCK!" He screamed once he saw my large belly. "HOW-WHAT-WHO-HUH-WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!"

"Colton." My mom said through gritted teeth.

"How the fuck am I the last one to know this? Who the fuck did this to you? Why the fuck is everyone so calm about this?"

"We've had five months to come to terms with it."

"FIVE FUCKING MONTHS? I'VE BEEN LIED TO FOR FIVE MONTHS? WHO THE FUCK DID THIS TO YOU? WHO DO I NEED TO CASTRATE?"

"Colton, please." I began to cry. Damn hormones. He saw what he was doing to me and the look on his face went from anger to sympathetic.

"I-I'm sorry." He said.

"Dad already threatened the father."

"Well, who is it?"

"Just a guy I was messing around with for a while. He didn't want any part of this pregnancy."

"Fuck that. He's going to be forced to take responsibility."

"Colton, there's nothing we can do until after the baby is born. We've already made an agreement that he'll get a DNA test so that he has to pay child support."

"So, you're keeping it?" Colton asked and I nodded.

"You're getting a nephew."

"It's a boy?" He asked and I nodded. "Well, if you're happy, then I am too." He said with a smile. I smiled and ran up to him, hugging him. He gave me an awkward hug back, my belly getting in the way. "I love you Caitlyn."

"I love you too Colton."

*One Week Later*

"Caitlyn?" My mom asked as she walked in my room while I was sobbing in my bed. "Caitlyn, what's wrong."

"I-I can't do this mom."

"What?"

"I can't. I can't raise a child. I can't do this. Oh god, what did I do?"

"Caitlyn, shh, it's okay. We're all 100% behind you, you'll never be alone with this. Okay?"

"I want to look into adoption."

"What?"

"I want the best for my baby. The best is not me being a junior in high school with a deadbeat father, a mother with no job and no idea how to care for a baby. Adoption is the best option. I want this baby to have a chance."

"Caitlyn, I've raised two kids. I can teach you how to care for a baby."

"I'm serious mom. I want to find a family that wants to adopt my son."

"Okay, we can look for adoption centers tomorrow and start the process."

"Really?"

"Caitlyn, like I said. We are behind you 100%. Whatever you want to do, we will follow you."

"Thank you." I smiled, wiping my tears and hugging her. "I love you mom."

"I love you too Caitlyn." My mom said, hugging me back.
