Colton's POV

"Colton, can you come over after school?" Cassie asked, catching up with me after class.

"Sure." I said.

"Cool." She said as she ran off.

After school, I drove to Cassie's house and knocked on the door. Cassie opened the door with a slightly nervous smile. She opened the door and I walked in. We walked up the stairs and into her room. She closed the door and she sat on her bed, patting the empty spot next to her. I sat down and we sat in silence for a moment.

"So, wha-"

"I think I like you." She said, staring at the ground. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped.

"What?"

"I said I-"

"I heard you the first time, I just-ugh!" I groaned, standing up and pacing around her room.

"What?" She asked.

"I've liked you literally ever since I knew what a crush was! Fuck Cassie! You decide to tell me literally as soon as I fall in love with my girlfriend!"

"I'm fucking sorry! I was trying to save our friendship and push my feelings away but I can't anymore. It's getting in my way of relationships with other people. I just needed to get that out in the open and test out my feelings."

"Excuse me?"

"I was thinking we could kiss and see if we still feel anything for each other."

"Cassie! What the fuck! That is...actually a kind of good idea." I stopped and thought about it for a moment. I made my way back over to her and sat down. We looked into each other's eyes and took a deep breath.

"Ready?" She asked and I nodded. We leaned in, our lips touching. I felt instant sparks, something I hadn't felt with anyone else. The way kissing is portrayed in movies is exactly how it felt with her. Fuck. We pulled apart and stared at each other.

"M-Maybe just one more time, to be sure." I said and she agreed. We kissed again, longer this time. The same feelings came back. Fuck. I love Sarah. I love Sarah. I love Sarah. No, fuck. I love Cassie.

We pulled apart and she bit her lip, looking at me.

"So?"

"I-I didn't feel anything." I said.

"Me too."

"Good, now we can just stay friends." I said with a smile.

"Yeah, friends." She smiled. I stood up and she walked me out. I got in my car and banged my head against the steering wheel. And just when I thought I had moved on from Cassie.

Cassie's POV

I closed the door and slid to the ground. Why did I fucking do that. It didn't make anything better, if anything, it made it worse.

I can now say I am truly, definitely in love with Colton. Fuck.

Andy's POV

"Babe!" Jessica called as she walked into the living room.

"Yes?" I asked, pausing the TV. Since it's the weekend, we've been relaxing at home until she has to go back for another week of treatments. The side effects are already hitting her so she's just been sleeping all weekend.

"So, I've decided to make a bucket list."

"Oh really?" I asked as she sat next to me.

"Yeah." She said, handing me a piece of paper.  "These are all the things I want to do before I die. Obviously, there's a lot more but I'm sick and old so these are the reasonable things that I want to do. At the bottom are the things that are slightly less reasonable, but I would love to do if I had the chance." She said. I read them over and nodded.

"This looks like a great list babe."

"I was wondering if you wanted to help me complete this list?"

"Of course." I smiled, hugging and kissing her.
