Chapter 132

Andy's POV

"I now leave the service open to anyone who wants to say a few words about Jessica." The officiant said, going back to his seat. I stood up and walked up the steps. I glanced at my wife in the coffin and let out a sigh, continuing my walk to the podium. I removed my sunglasses and folded them, putting them on the podium. I cleared my throat, adjusting the microphone to my height.

"Hello, for all that don't know me, I am Andy Biersack, Jessica's husband. Some of you, the last time you saw me was our wedding. Some, you have never seen me. That's the interesting thing about marrying at such a late age. We both had two separate families that were already large, and by getting married, we combined them to make one giant family. Before Jessica, I was happily married to my wife, Harley, of about forty years who tragically died from an AVM in her brain. After Harley's death, I didn't imagine me ever loving another woman again. I didn't think it was possible. After much convincing from my friends, I went on a date, which failed. I decided to go on another date, which also failed. At that point, I swore off dating, but I was convinced to give it one more try. I will forever be thankful to my friends for convincing me. They say third times a charm, and Jessica was my good luck charm. I met her on that date, and our relationship progressed rather quickly. I met her family, she met mine, and I knew she was the woman I wanted to spend the remainder of my life with. She was my companion for 15+ years and I wold have wanted anyone else to be with. She's my queen and I am going to miss her terribly." I said, stepping away from the podium. I turned around and gazed into her casket, brushing my finger along her cheek.

"I'll always love you." I said, blowing her a kiss. I put my sunglasses back on to hide my tears before turning around and going back to my seat.

After the funeral, we had a procession to the burial and had another short service before everyone was dismissed.

"Dad, do you need to stay with me?" Brandon asked.

"No, I'll be fine." I said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Brandon, I just need a few days and I'll be better. I promise."

"Okay." He said, giving me a hug and walking to his car with Alex.
