Chapter 123

Caitlyn's POV

*4 months later*

I sat in the waiting room of the doctor's office with my mom. I had another appointment today and was going to be able to find out the gender.

"Are you sure you want to find out the gender?" My mom asked.

"What?"

"Just saying, you might get more atta-"

"Mom, I've already told you I'm keeping this baby."

"I know but what if you want to chang-"

"Mom, do you want me to keep this baby or not?"

"I'll support you in whatever you do."

"Okay then. I'm keeping it." I said and that shut her up.

"Caitlyn Longsworth." We stood up and I followed the nurse back. I got my measurements taken and was led to a room. I jumped up onto the table and lifted my shirt to reveal my growing bump. A few minutes later, the doctor walked in, greeting my mom and I.

"Let's take a look at your baby, shall we?" She asked, sitting on her stool and turning on the ultrasound machine. She covered my belly in that cold gel and moved the transducer across my skin. "There's baby!" She announced, pointing at the white figure on the screen. "Did you want to know the sex?" She asked.

"Yes please."

"It looks like you're going to have a little baby boy! Congrats!" She smiled. "You're baby looks healthy and I don't foresee any problems so I'll see you at your next appointment." She smiled, handing me a towel and leaving.I wiped off my stomach and pulled my shirt back down, following my mom out. I set up my next appointment and my mom drove me home.

I went to my room and opened my journal which I had jotted down a few baby names. I crossed out the 'girl' column and looked through the boy names, narrowing it down to a few.

Daniel Brian, Micah Ryan or Elijah Chase. Well, I have five months to decide.

Sorry it's a short chapter. I've been hella busy. I just graduated from high school and am starting my second job today.
