I know I said this might be quotes from my senile assistant band director or a writing thing, but I have another book tag. (I have a bit of an obsession with these. So leave your questions for me to answer too.) Also, I need questions about writing to answer. Hint, hint, leave a comment or message me. Anyway, book tag time. (Note before I start: I'm writing this on October 22, 2016 and not posting it until half way through December.)
1. what was the last book you read?
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
2. was it a good one?
It was decent. 3 out of 5. I reviewed it on goodreads or if you look at my book Book of Reviews it's there too.
3. what made it good or bad?
It had an intriguing plot, but it was also fucked up. It's about a girl who got raped by her neighbor in a hole in the ground of some cornfield and then he cuts her body up and throws it in a sinkhole.
4. would you recommend it to other people?
Yeah, I think the perspective of the narrator being the girl who got murdered and looking down at the things happening after her death to her family and friends from her personal heaven interesting.
5. How often do you read?
I try to read everyday or at least every other day even if it's only a few pages.
6. Do you like to read?
If it wasn't already obvious, yes.
7. what was the last bad book you read?
The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I'm not much a fan of classics it's probably about a 50-50% chance if I like it or not. I didn't like this one, at all.
8. what made you dislike it?
I just didn't like the plot. It's about a woman who commits adultery on her husband.
9. Do you wish to be a writer?
well, I do write so yes.
10. Has any book ever influenced you greatly?
Yes, there's books that inspired to start writing myself. There's books that helped me with my depression. There's books that have helped me relax. Books have helped me so much.
11. Do you read fan fiction?
Yes. I write fan fiction mostly. That's how I started writing and I have a lot of ideas for it so I probably will continue to write fan fic. I do have ideas for other books, but there still in the developing stages.
12. Do you write fan fic?
Yes. I just said I did.
13. what's your favorite book?
A question I can never answer because I love so many books.
14. what's your least favorite book?
Anything that I've give a rating between 1 and 2.5. So if you're really that curious go look through my ratings on goodreads.
15. Do your prefer physical books or ready on a device?
Both. I love physical books but ebooks are more convenient for carrying around like 50 books.
16. when did you learn to read?
Kindergarten? I don't remember. Everything blurs in my mind.
17. what is your favorite book you had to read in school?
