Self care is real actively common sense. So I decided to compile a list of ways to care for yourself. My favorites are in bold, and because it's me you know there's going to be some commentary. 1. Drink some cold water I love drinking water to begin with. But sometimes you literally just need some water and don't realize it. 2. Wash your hands and face. I wash my face every morning and every night. It's soothing. 3. Make some tea 4. Get a blanket and snuggle it around you. Literally, do this all the time. 5. Snuggle an animal/stuffed animal. When I'm at home, I love to cuddle close to my puppy and she loves to cuddle up to me all the time. Let me share a picture of the cutie. Her name is Eleanor or Ellie for short. 6. Buy your favorite candy. 7. Close your eyes and listen to your favorite song on repeat for 10 minutes. 8. Put on some throwback jams and dance around your room. 9. Make a calming playlist. (Or find on on Spotify or some shit because you're lazy). 10. Call a friend/relative just to say hi and hear someone else's voice. 11. Rewatch cute/funny/happy clips from your favorite TV show/band/movie on YouTube. 12. Scribble really hard with a pen on a blank page and scream. (Overdramatic if you ask me.) 13. Look at the sky/moon/sunset/sunrise/stars 14. Write 15. Watch kitten/puppy/small animal live streams on YouTube 16. Go outside 17. Change your contacts/clean your glasses if you wear those. 18. Change your clothes. 19. Take a shower. 20. Stretch. 21. Take a nap. 22. Go to bed before 11 pm. 23. Brush your teeth. 24. Turn off bright lights and use a lamp instead. 25. Watch a new movie or just any movie you like. 26. Make your bed. I try to do this every morning, but if I don't have classes I suck at this. 27. Vacuum. Seriously, like when was the last time you vacuumed your bedroom. 28. Wipe down your desk. My desk is more a placeholder than anything. It holds things like all my medications and various school supplies. 29. Clean something like your backpack or the bathroom, or under the bed. 30. Read a book. 31. Go for a walk. 32. Shave. 33. Moisturize. I try to do this every time I get out of the shower, but sometimes I'm lazy. 34. Bake some cookies. 35. Play some music you love. 36. Color a picture. Literally have an app for doing this. 37. Brush your hair. 38. Fold/refold your laundry. 39. Update your planner. 40. Watch a funny Youtuber. I love watching FluffeeTalks. He does funny videos likes "You're Bad at Tinder" and "You're Bad at Social Media. That series is up into 90+ videos. 41. Start watching a new TV show or watch a few episodes from one you already started. 42. Get up to date with your favorite shows. Some of my favorite shows that are playing right now are Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, 60 Days In, Live P.D., Good Trouble.
