These are some book/reading confessions. what else did you expect out of me? Some of these are mine and some of these are just one I agree with that I found on Tumblr.

Note: Number 50 is a true story that happened to me in 8th grade.

1. One of the things I'm most looking forward to when I start college in the fall is the fact that Cleveland has several huge (compared to around here) libraries within walking distance of campus.

2. That moment when a book is so good that you have to stop for a breather.

3. when I fall in love with the hero, I really don't want the book to end. when it does, I feel like he broke up with me.

4. I love the feeling you get when you re-read a favorite book. It's like you're reminiscing about the life of the characters like they were old friends.

5. Changing the cover art of a series halfway through, so that the books you own look different from the new books, always annoys me.

6. I have trouble lending books out. Especially since they get returned with 41 pages missing, 68 rips, 112 bended corners, 16 coffee stains, and half the covering missing

7. I make my day even worse by reading a page or chapter of a certain book with a lot of feels.

8. My books hold a place in my life higher than my family.

9. Reading a series then finding out the author just wrote a prequel novel and wanting to read them all over again.

10. I'm the kind of person who will go to the library and check out seven more books when I still have seven more at home.

11. Books are essential to life.

12. Not always, but sometimes, when re-reading a book, I get that same sort of delicately awesome feeling I got when first reading it.

13. I want a library like the Beast's from Beauty and the Beast.

14. My goal to not have children so that I can use that bedroom then as a library.

15. Reading has been constant in my life ever since I fell in love with it.

16. Sometimes, life is so stressful that getting into a great book is the only thing that gets me through the day.

17. If someone lends me a book, they'll never see it again.

18. Percy Jackson will forever be the reason I fell in love with reading. I owe so much to that series and Rick Riordan.

19. My biggest fear is not having enough time to read all of the book I could have loved.

20. After a couple minutes of reading, the words disappear and a movie with every detail plays in my head.

21. I always buy another book, even if I have ten (or 50) more at home to read.

22. when a character does something really stupid or embarrassing, I have to close the book and breathe for a second because I can feel their embarrassment.

23. when my friends ask me to go out, I lie and say I don't feel well or that I have to babysit. But really, I just want to say in and read.

24. when people spoil the ending of a book for me, I secretly murder them in my head.

25. I have more books than I can fit on my bookshelf.

26. I think the book is a million times better than the movie will ever be.

27. when it's time to choose the next book to read, I'm always overwhelmed by the amount of options.

28. I will never date somone who utters the words, "I don't read."

29. I want to live in a bookstore.

30. People who tell me I read "too much" are fucking assholes who need to get out of my life.

31. It breaks my heart that so many bookstores close due to poor sales.

32. Finding out that someone loves the same book as you? Hello, instant new best friend. (That's actually how I became friends with one of my best friends.)

33. Escaping inot a really good book allows me to forget about the rest of the world if only for a little bit.

34. I obsessively keep a list of all the books I plan to read before I die . . . and the list just keeps growing.

35. My heart almost physically hurts when two characters I love finally get together . . . or when they break up.

36. After something mind-blowing happens in a book I'm reading, I have to stop for moment to rant before continuing on.

37. I carry a book everywhere because it's like my security blanket.

38. I've fallen asleep reading a book, only to wake up hugging it.

39. Sometimes I have to calm down and take a deep breath while reading because I become too emotionally invested in the plot.

40. My bookshelf is overflowing and still I buy more.

41. Books have saved my life.

42. If I move in with someone I'm dating, it won't work out unless he has enough space for me to a shit ton of bookshelves for my books.

43. I've become a master of eating while reading.

44. My books are an extension of me.

45. Asking me to stop reading is like asking me to end my life.

46. Sometimes I just have to re-read a book. Even if I have new ones, the old ones call to me.

47. Staying up all night finishing a novel always gives me sweet dreams.

48. I'm a bookaholic and I regret nothing.

49. In my opinion, a book is always the perfect gift.

50. One time I started laughing so fucking hard at a Rick Riordan book that I fell out of my chair . . . at school . . . in a room filled with 60 other people . . . and I sat in the front row so everyone saw me.
