Winter 2016 Quarterly Goals

Okay so I had this part almost fucking done and it all just fucking deleted. So here goes a second fucking time. 

This is my recap of my Fall 2016 Quarterly writing Goals and my new goals for the winter quarter. I got the idea from Jenna Moreci, and she's not the only one to do these. I go by the seasons to make my quarters. So since winter officially started yesterday here goes the new goals. 

I'm going with Jenna Moreci on if I accomplish 50% of my goals, I'm successful. 

we're going to start with a recap of my fall goals. 

Fall Quarter Dates: September 22, 2016 - December 20, 2016

Goals: 

1. Finish writing Fire is Raging On (A Hunger Games Fanfic).

I accomplished this in October I believe. 

2. Finish editing The Hunger Games: Peeta's POV. 

I accomplished this too. I had about 10 chapters left to edit when I made this goal, and I finished editing in late November or early this month. 

3. write 5 reviews for Book or Reviews. 

I accomplished this as well. I wrote reviews for Beowulf, The Scarlet Letter, Mythology: Tales of Gods and Heroes, The Lovely Bones, and Oedipus Rex. All of these reviews and more are all on my goodreads and on here in Book of Reviews. 

4. write 10 parts for Ask Me Questions. 

I accomplished this. Actually, I wrote a few more parts than I needed to. I'll go over what I wrote and in parentheses I'll put what the topic of the part is about in case you want to go check them out if you haven't. 

- Not A Big Surprise with All the Shit To Do (stress)

- Netflix (obviously about Netflix, actually about what I watch on Netflix)

- Things I've Done to Shock Teachers (recent things I've done to shock my teachers)

- My Jams/Fight Songs (a writing playlist and another playlist I like to listen to)

- Important Apps/websites to Me (apps and websites I love/like/use)

- Book Covers (how I make my book covers for on here)

- Quitting Pop (how to quit drinking so much pop/soda)

- Boob Rant (a rant about boobs and some stupid ass I saw comment on a YouTube video)

- More School Tips (tips for school)

- Another One (a book tag)

- The College Process (about applying, choosing, preparing, and shit you do to get ready to actually go to college)

- Exams & Studying (exams and studying advice)

- Exams and Studying Part 2 (more about exams and studying for them as well as pictures of my study guides and a video of my government teacher of when he was a senior in high school)

- School Books (books I've read for school)

- A Tag That's Been Sitting in My To Do Now for Months (a writing/reading tag that I had saved on my computer to do for 6 months)

- A to Z Bookish Survey (another Book tag) 

5. write 3 chapters of City of Bones: Jace's POV. 

I didn't fucking do this. I haven't even fucking started. 

So that's 4 out of 5 goals accomplished making 80% accomplished. The fall quarter has been a fucking success. 

Now we'll move on to my winter goals. I'm changing it up a bit this quarter by adding personal, reading, and school goals in addition to the writing goals. I'm also putting some commentary/explanation to the goals in italics. 

Winter Quarter Dates: December 21, 2016 - March 19, 2017

Goals:

1. write 3 chapters for City of Bones: Jace's POV. (I'm planning on starting on this while I'm on Christmas break here.)

2. Rewrite anatomy notes for chapters 6 through 11. (I'm rewriting my anatomy notes to make them neater for college since I'll probably need them. Also, the more you write something the easier it is to remember.)

3. Apply to a STEM Fellows Program in Cleveland. (I found one I just need to fill out the application, gets some recommendations, and write an essay for it.)

4. write 10 parts for Ask Me Questions. (This part doesn't count toward my total for this goal, and yes I had this goal last quarter.)

5. write 5 reviews for Book of Reviews. (Again, I had this goal last quarter, but this helps ensure that I actually write some reviews.) 

6. Edit chapters 1 through 6 of Catching Fire: Peeta's POV. (Because you fucking know that I have how many fucking stories that need editing.)

7. Read 6 books outside of school reading. (Meaning the book I'm reading for English now: The Grapes of wrath doesn't count. I want to make a dent in my to read list as well as well as my next year reading goal.)

So, that's the end of my goals for this quarter. I'll report back with the results in March. In the meantime, make your own goals to accomplish.
