Fall is officially here today (the day I'm posting this). So that means it's time to make some new quarterly goals.

I didn't come up with the ideas of quarterly goals. I got the idea from Jenna Moreci, an author and vlogger, nor did Jenna come up with this idea (I don't think). I like the idea of quarterly goals because of it helps me keep to a schedule and also makes goals easier to accomplish. Like breaking down editing a story into segments is easier than the whole book. What looks easier to accomplish? Edit chapter 1 or edit the whole book. To me, it's easier to break bigger projects down into smaller chunks. That's where my quarterly goals come in. So without further ado, I'll recap my goals from the summer quarter.

*Note: If I accomplish at least 50% of my goals, I consider myself successful. I purposely make my goals a bit hard to obtain to give me motivation.*

Also, I finished all these goals early. Like it's August 27, and I have all but 1 goal done and that one is almost done (hoping to finish it by the end of the week).

Summer Quarter Dates: June 21, 2017 - September 21, 2017

Goals:

1. Write 13 parts for Ask Me Questions

I accomplished this goal. A list of parts I wrote during the summer quarter (not all of these parts have been posted yet):

- January - June 2017 Book Haul

- January - June 2017 Reading Overview

- Books I Own I Have Yet to Read (Or Reread)

- Space Tag

- How Glee Inaccurately Depicts Lima

- Random Questions

- Hard-Hitting Questions

- Start of a New Segment

- High School Q&A

- Helpful Apps/Websites for School

- Choosing a University/College & Major

- Lovely Things Tag

- Neurodivergent Tag

- Instruments Tag

2. Rewrite anatomy notes for chapters 22, 23, 25, and 27.

I accomplished this. I finished about a week before school started for me. But, I'm currently taking anatomy so you guys get to here more about my anatomy class in A New Beginning (and in a part that was posted a while back about my first week of school).

3. Edit Catching Fire: Peeta's POV Chapters 14-20.

I accomplished this by the end of June. I'm hoping to get the book completely edited this next quarter.

4. Write City of Bones: Jace's POV Chapters 10-15.

I accomplished this. I actually wrote most of the chapters in August (like 11-15). I'm hoping to get a few more written this next quarter and hopefully finish the story by the end of the spring quarter, summer quarter at the latest of next year (all depends on how busy with school I am).

5. Read 10 books.

I accomplished this. I'll tell you the books I've read since the last quarter.

Now, we have my goals for the fall quarter.

Fall Quarter Dates: September 22, 2017 -- December 20, 2017

Goals:

1. Write 10 parts for Ask Me Questions

2. Keep up to date with all schoolwork (kinda have to since by the time the fall quarter ends by fall semester will be over).

3. Edit Catching Fire: Peeta's POV Chapters 21-27

4. Write City of Bones: Jace's POV Chapters 16-20

5. Read 6 books (lowering the amount because I have quite a few academic articles/journals to read for one class and a lot of readings in 2 of my other classes too along with the class that has the extra academic readings).
