Okay, because of school coming up, my writing schedule will change slightly.
I won't be able to write as much because of school, band, work, reading, babysitting, etc. So I won't have as much time as I have this summer to write.
The updating schedule won't change much. It may change slightly to accommodate my new writing schedule. I'm still going to try to write everyday, but I don't know how much it will be. It may be a page, or a paragraph, or a sentence.
I'll start by saying that Fire is Raging On updates won't change. They will still be every Sunday until the last chapter is uploaded on October 22. Currently, at the time of writing this (August 6th) I have twenty-nine chapters written out of thirty-six. I'm planning on having another two or three chapters written before school starts. So I should have thirty-one or thirty-two chapters done. So that leaves me with four or five to write yet during the school year, and I'll have Saturdays off band until September 17.
As for An Ending, the updating schedule will change from every 4 to 5 days to once a week mostly likely Sunday updates. I'll be writing on it every day or every other day, but I'll be updating once a week.
Book of Quotes and Book of Reviews will still be updated the same. Whenever I have quotes or whenever I have a review.
Hunger Games Outtakes will be updated once or twice a month. Most likely once a month until further notice. I have some ideas for it yet. I also have some ideas for outtakes from FIRO.
This book will be updated on Wednesdays. I already have the next two months worth of parts typed up. Besides these aren't that time consuming to come up with. With the current amount of parts I have written, this book is up to 53,352 words. That's over the length of 40,000 that makes the difference between novella and novel length.
As for after I have FIRO written, I am going to do something differently than I have in the past. In the past I would write a chapter then upload it. Now I've been writing so many chapters ahead. I'm going to try to write the entire the story and edit the chapter before I upload it. So like I would write the entire book, then start going back through and edit the chapters. So when the first chapter is edited I would upload it.
Speaking of editing, I'm almost done with The Hunger Games: Peeta's POV. At this moment, I still have six chapters to edit. Once I'm done with the editing I'll put in the first part the new description, the word count of the story, and how many Google Docs pages it is. The reason I'm doing the word and page count is because I know some people like to know that stuff. I know I like to know page counts. Wattpad used to tell you page counts, but they took that feature away. But after that, I'll start editing Catching Fire: Peeta's POV.
So how is my writing schedule it's self going to change? Usually, this summer I've been writing a part every day. I'll use last week's schedule for an example.
Monday, I wrote a part for An Ending.
Tuesday, I worked on chapters 5 & 6 of Experiment's comprehensive outline.
Wednesday, I wrote a chapter for Fire is Raging On.
Thursday, I edited a chapter of The Hunger Games: Peeta's POV.
Friday, I wrote a part to for this, Ask Me Questions.
Saturday, I wrote a part for Hunger Games Outtakes.
Sunday, I wrote another part to An Ending.
I was writing a whole part every day. I'll pull up the new word counting program I found the other day. Let me explain the program really quick. It's free, first of all. Pretty much all you do is put the amount of words you wrote that day, the day it is, and what project it was for into the program and it counts how many words you've written that day, month, year, since you joined the program. That's how I knew how many words this book was so far. I've gone back and logged all the words I've written since February. My total so far for the year is 174,550. The month of July I wrote 39,070 words. I'll give you the totals since February (since that's all the farther back I've logged) so you can see how school affects how much I write.
February -- 5,478 words
March -- 23,924 words (obviously I got out of my writing slump in March)
April -- 16,758 words (this probably close to what I usually write during school months)
May -- 36,479 words
June -- 43,360 words
July -- 39,070 words
So I'm probably not going to write that much during the school year. I'll probably try to get a chapter of FIRO done every week until I have the entire book finished. Then, do one thing at least every weekend.
But, that's all I wanted to come on here to say. Just that I probably won't be on as much anymore. I'll still be around, not just not as much as I have been.
