It's normal for teenagers to get acne, but sometimes there's underlying causes to it. I'm going to discuss what can cause acne, how to treat it, and how to prevent future breakouts.

Now I only get acne once in a while, and most of the time when I do get acne it's right around my period so hormones are to blame for that. But I used to have quite a bit more acne until I started making changes in my life.

BTW, I'll post pictures to help explain what I'm talking about.

Causes

Acne can be caused by a number of things. Sometimes it's just hormones and you almost have to wait it out sometimes. Other times it's simply because your pores are getting clogged. But sometimes it's because of certain things going on with your body and what you're doing.

From the picture I added you can see different numbered zones. Each of these zones have different reasons on why you're getting acne in them. So let me explain the reasoning. I'll explain how to get rid of the acne in the next bold section.
