What year are you?

A college freshman — Class of 2021

What's your major/what do you think you want to major in?

I'm a Health Science major studying under a pre-physician assistant track. My minor is biology.

If applicable, what is your thesis about?

I don't have to do a thesis, yet. I do have to do a research project this year though in the spring semester.

Do you think you picked the right major?

Yes. I don't have much work to do yet. Most of it is just reading and studying.

Ultimate educational goals?

To get a masters in Health Sciences and go to PA school

Career goals?

Become a pA (kinda the reason I'm studying under the pre-PA track right now)

Do you think your goals are realistic?

Yes

What classes are you taking right now?

This semester (fall 2017) I'm taking: Intro to psychology, Intro to Health Sciences, Statistical Concepts with Applications, Anatomy & Physiology I with lab, Intro to University Life, & Yoga I.

Favorite class out of everything you've ever taken and why?

In high school, probably Anatomy & Physiology because it's extremely helpful for the Anatomy & Physiology class I'm in now and I like that kind of stuff.

Least favorite class ever and why?

Any English class. I love reading and writing, but I hate how English class are set up and how they execute things. I don't want to be forced to read. I didn't enjoy most of the books I was forced to read for school. I don't read to find some hidden meaning in what is written or "what it means". I don't think it's important if I can find the simile or personification in a piece of work. I read and write to enjoy the story.

Current favorite class and why?

Anatomy & Physiology I or Intro to Psychology. A&P because I love the subject and my professor is funny. Psychology because my professor is so fucking funny. He told us that when the university reinterviews him and asks why they should hire him again, he tells them to please fire him so he can collect unemployment, but they also rehire him anyway.

Current least favorite class and why?

Intro to University Life because it's a waste of an hour. I could be doing other shit instead of watching the professor show me shit I already know how to do like how to find my schedule on the school's portal. I also don't need to listen to the people she brought in tell the class that "Just because You let someone kiss you doesn't mean they have the right to stick their hand up your shirt and finger you." Excuse me, even I who is a virgin, knows you can't finger someone by sticking your hand up their shirt. It's a shirt. What are you going to be fingering up there? Their belly button?

Favorite STEM field?

The one I'm in. Health Sciences.

Favorite humanities subject?

I haven't taken many humanities subjects. From looking at my options on my universities course catalog I'm going to have to say U.S. History is my favorite. I took AP U.S. History as a high school sophomore and got college credit for it.
