Poem 33: Ray of Hope

My colorful life becomes dull and gray,
As the storm of life approaches me;
On my knees, I beg for my life,
But what can I do? It's up to Heaven to decide.

I know I can't be spared from the judgement
Of the monsters who, in this society reside.
Their words and looks burns like fire,
It pains me but I should live my life.

The world's negativity is dragging me down
As the flood of loneliness drowns me,
I can see the dark clouds above.
Now, is this the end of my sanity?

As I fall in abyss of brokenness,
In my heart I silently pray...
May the ray of hope shine before me,
May God answer my plea.

In a blink of an eye, the darkness flees,
And comes the miracle I long for;
I'm so glad he come to my rescue,
By his love, my broken pieces become whole.
