Poem 31: Sad Night On The Bay

Ocean's breeze caressing my face,
Tears collecting at every pace...
Remembering that sweetest smile,
Realizing it was no longer mine...
Sparkling waters reflect the moon,
Hoping I'll forget you very soon...
Rustling all memories to oblivion,
Makes it difficult to carry on...
If it wasn't love, then what was it?
Were they dreams that in my heart seat?
I wish under all these beautiful stars,
Will heal my deep and dark scars.
For this last walk in this bay,
Will curse our very first day...
