Nakarating si Leo sa isang private and one of the fanciest restaurant in the city.

He should've expected this though. Eliseo Marion is a one hell of a successful businessman.

When Leonard said his name, agad siyang iginiya ng butler sa 3rd floor na halatang pangVIP.

Leo can afford these kind of things pero hindi niya nakikita ang sense na gumastos ng mahal. There are many restaurants whose better than this place and more affordable though masarap naman talaga ang mga pagkain dito. This is the place you want to visit if you want privacy. Total privacy.

Nang makarating sa siguroy reserved na room ay pinapasok siya ng butler.

Malaki ang kwarto. Too big for his liking. Dalawa lang naman sila and Leo hoped his talk with Eliseo Marion wouldn't take too long.

Every minute na malapit lang siya sa ama ni Sierra, he felt his conscience poking him for not telling her about this sudden appearance.

"I'm glad you could come Mr. Leonard Donovan," bati ng medyo may edad nang lalaki.

Napatingin si Leo sa lalaki. Their eyes met and he instantly saw significance of him and Sierra.

Hindi masyadong magkamukha but the resemblance is there.

"I cancelled few meetings for this sudden invitation Mr. Eliseo Marion. So why not we talk about it already." Agad na sabi ni Leo.

Napatingin lang ang lalaki sa kanya. Nakatayo pa rin silang dalawa ng magsalita ito.

"Why don't we sit first." Sabi nito sabay upo.

Nakatingin lamang siya sa mga kilos ng businessman.

Halatang marami na itong alam sa buhay base sa tindig nito at porma. Lalo na sa pagsasalita nito.

Napaupo si Leo sa kaharap na upuan.

Uminom ito ng kape at nagpasya si Leo na uminom na rin ng kape, he needed it.

"What's this all about Mr. Marion, nabigla ako ng biglang tumawag ang isang nagngangalang Cole sa akin saying that you will invest in my company?" Diretsahang tanong niya.

Habang tumatagal kase'y nagagalit si Leo.

Naalala niya ang sinabi ni Jany.

Everyone blamed Sierra for what happened to her Mom and Nanny. They blamed her for an accident. They blamed her for their deaths na hindi naman nito kasalanan.

Isa si Eliseo Marion sa mga iyon.

Napatingin ito sa kanya sabay pakawala ng buntong-hininga.

"I wanted to invest where my daughter is currently working." Diretsahan nitong sabi. Napataas ang noo ni Leo.

"Sierra Marion, she's a hardworking woman. She knows what she's doing and is determined at everything she does."

Napatango ito.

"I want to invest in your company as my paying of debt for taking care of my daughter. I know that you already knew that Sierra has a hearing impairment. It must be hard for you and for her-"

What is he talking about?

Minamaliit ba nito si Sierra? He thinks Sierra is incapable of doing something?

F*ck this.

"What are you trying to say Mr. Marion?" Pinipilit na lamang kamalhin ni Leo ang sarili. Baka naman iba ang ibig sabihin nito.
