After both James and I's moms take their last picture he opens the car door for me and I climb in. James looks stunning in his fitted suit. The dark purple bowtie that surrounds his neck adds the perfect amount of color to compliment the floor length dress I am wearing. It takes about an hour to arrive at the mansion where the prom has already begun. It is a tradition that the seniors arrive fashionably late to the event. James comes around the car and opens the door for me. Logan's tall black truck towers over all the other cars at the end of the parking lot. Bradley is standing at the top of the mansion steps as he puts his arms around his beautiful date wearing a red dress. His mom snaps one more picture before Bradley shoos her away.

I place my arm inside of James' and we walk up the elegantly decorated stairs.

"Theresa you look stunning." Bradley compliments as we reach the porch of the mansion.

"You two make a very beautiful couple." I tell the two as they turn to walk into the mansion.

"Theresa!" I hear a familiar yell from down the stairs. I turn around to see Alyssa waiting at the bottom. "Turn around so I can get a picture of you two." We obey and pose as she takes multiple pictures on her phone. "James, can you come down here and take one of Theresa and me?" She starts walking up the stairs and holds out the phone to him before he has a chance to deny. After taking what seemed like hundreds of photos she gives me one more big hug and walks back down the stairs and heads towards her parked car.

I put my arm back around James' and we start to head inside. The hallways are narrow and the main area had to be reached by walking down a swirled flight of stairs. As we started our descent down the staircase I located where Logan was. He was sitting at a table with Anna and a group of other girls. He was looking around the room hoping to find something interesting to do. His eyes wondered up the staircase and looked at us, but looked away before returning his eyes quickly realizing it was James and I. With each step my leg would elegantly immerse from the dress to expose my sparkling high heels. Logan watched as we made our way down the staircase. I could not help but keep my eyes on the beautiful man staring at me. His hair was freshly cut and his beard was neatly trimmed. His all black suit was tight around his arms and showed every indent. I thought I saw him start to stand up to walk towards us once we reached the bottom, but Anna grabbed his arm, stealing his attention.

James and I found two empty seats next to Bradley. While James was pushing the seat in for me, I took a look over at where Logan was sitting and saw that he was looking our way. I smiled as our eyes made contact. He returned the smile and I looked back at the table of people we were seated with. I only wished Logan was at the table too.
