I took off from work on Monday and studied for my last exam. Biology was my most important class. I had studied all weekend and most of the time at the hotel, but I was getting anxious that I was forgetting something. I went over everything and slept surrounded by my textbook and notes.

As I walked to class I was greeted by my study group who complained about our professor not canceling our final. An hour after the exam was passed out, I was turning mine back in unsure of how I had done.

I went straight home and sat on the couch unsure what to do with my new free time.

My professor said she would have the grades posted by the end of the day. I would not be able to relax from my semester until I knew my final results. Alyssa walked in the front door and sat next to me on the couch in the empty house. "Best friend, how was your final?"

"I'm not sure how I did." I replied as I refreshed the page on my phone.

"I'm sure you did fine. I want to hear about what happened down at the beach."

"Well, you know that I ran into Sara and Rachel, but I didn't tell you about Dan."

"Oh, tell me about Dan!"

"Dan was a random guy that showed up to the hotel because his truck got stuck in the snow right outside of our hotel. He was British and had these amazing light blue eyes."

"Oh, did something happen between you and him?" I had forgotten that Alyssa did not know what had happened between Logan and me.

I wanted to keep this to myself until Logan got back and we could actually discuss what was going to happen next. I didn't want Anna finding out what Logan had said before he left and her wrath on me while he wasn't here.

"No! Rachel and him though is a different story." I said winking at her.

"Oh! I love the romance story." She exaggerated as she crossed her legs waiting for me to tell her more.

"They literally just clicked. How crazy is it that he got stuck right in front of our hotel?"

"That's fate right there. I bet they last a while."

"I hope so. She has been through a lot with the whole Crew thing. She deserves to be happy."

"At least that whole thing is behind us now. Right?"

"I believe so." I smiled and hit the refresh button.

"Stop hitting that damn button and lets go celebrate."

"Celebrate how?" I asked with a sigh as I placed the phone back into my lap.

"Hm. Why don't we go to the pool party at the sorority tonight?"

"You mean at College Park?"

"Yeah, everyone is talking about it!"

"I don't know." I said hesitantly.

"The swim team has access to the pool and the fraternity paid off the security guard. Come and lets do something reckless." She said as she grabbed my arm and jumped closer to me on the couch.

"Fine!" I gave in with a sigh of defeat as she pulled me off the couch and into my room to start deciding what to wear.
