Logan grabs my hand and pulls me towards the kitchen. The back door continues to swing open as students try and escape the unwanted company. He pulls me through the door and follows the students as they run through the bushes in the back yard to a neighbor's backyard.

Luckily the party was crowded enough that we had to park farther down the street. We reach the tall black truck and lean against it as we both laugh at what had just happened trying to catch our breath.

"Someone's having a good time." I say as he pulls the car keys from his pants pocket.

"Letting go is kind of fun!" I quickly walk around the back of the truck and climb into the cab. Seeing Logan carefree was one of the most satisfying sights I had ever seen. "Ready to get out of here?" I look over to him and nod.

Cars begin to un-line the street. We get out of the neighborhood and Logan pulls over to the side of the street in the town square crowded with college students dressed in silly costumes. I look out the window to see an entrance to a haunted trail. I look over to him with a smile on my face. "I know you like haunted houses so I thought we could end the night with this."

"How'd you know this would be here?"

"I saw it earlier when we were getting that pumpkin pie from the bakery." He opens the door and steps out. I pull the handle and grab Logan's hand as he helps me step down from the cab in my heels. We run across the street avoiding the escaping cars. "Two please." Logan asks the man dressed as a vampire behind the glass booth.

We walk through the entrance in the shape of a snake's mouth and find the entire place pitch black except for a light path along the floor. From the shadows on the side of the path a person jumps out with a chainsaw covered in fake blood. I jump back hitting Logan.

He laughs and puts his arms around me. He keeps his arm around me as we continue to walk through the dark tunnel. He laughs every time I jump at a person trying to scare us. We make it to the end of the trail where the sign says that we can take a walk through the corn maze or exit. He looks over to me as I wait for him to make a decision.

He points towards the maze and we start to walk. The mud below the hay makes it hard for me to walk with my heels. He notices my trouble with the mud and without asking he puts his arm under mine and picks up both of my legs. "You don't have to carry me." I say as I put my hands around his neck.

"I think we both have spent enough time in the hospital." He laughs as he starts to continue along the path. There were only different lights and pumpkins along the quiet path. A few minutes later we arrive at the end of the trail. I didn't want it to be over. I wanted Logan to not put me down. I wanted to stay in his arms for as long as I could. "Are you sleepy yet?" He asked as he started to carry me back towards the truck.

"I think maybe some hot chocolate will make me sleepier." I say sleepily as I smile and put my head into his neck.

"Oh, is that so?" He laughs softly. He puts me down as we reach the brick town center. We walk towards the stores that were staying open late for the busy night. There was a small café with a large sign hanging above the door that read New Hampshire Coffee. He opens the glass door as I walk through. I wait as he walks in behind me.

"Two hot chocolates with whipped cream please." I ask the college student with cat ears on behind the counter. She hands us two orange coffee cups and I hand her the money hitting Logan's arm as he began to dig for his wallet. I thank the lady and we walk over to a vacant table.

"How'd you like the 'college life' experience?" He asked as he sarcastically smiles.

"Well that sure was a rush." I smile back bringing the cup to my mouth.

"What are you going to do after community college?"

"I kind of want to go to UMCP." He asks me questions about the choice until we finish the hot chocolate and get back to the large black truck. Our hotel was only a five minute drive. I come out of the bathroom after changing out of my dress and horns into pajama pants and a t-shirt. I put the dress back into my bag on the end of my bed.

"Come over her." Logan demanded as he patted the seat next to him on the two person couch. I comply and sit down next to him. He gets up and pulls a blanket off his bed and throws it over the both of us as our feet rest on the empty wooden coffee table. "Do you want to watch a movie before we go to sleep?"

"Only if it's good." He picks up the remote and switches to the movie channel to catch Forest Gump starting. We sat in silence as the movie played. About halfway through I began to fall asleep. I tried to keep myself awake. I felt Logan's arm guide me over to rest my head on his shoulder.
