"Alright, I will see you all again on Thursday." The newly introduced professor said as he dismissed us.
"Hi. I'm Hailey." A short girl with light brown hair and blue streaks introduced herself as I stood up. She had been sitting next to me the entire lecture.
"Hey. Theresa." I smile down at her.
"Do you want to be lab partners?"
"Yeah, sure!"
"Are you a biology major?"
"I am. How about you?"
"Same. I want to teach high school biology."
"That's awesome. I'm pre-med." Hailey and I continued to talk as we walked towards the math building. We both had classes in the building. She seemed to be the reckless type. I couldn't see her being a teacher, but her appearance was a lot harsher than her sweet personality.
"What do you think of Zoology so far?" She asks laughing.
"He seems like he is going to be an outgoing professor."
"It's obvious he is new! It took him forever trying to figure out the projector."
I laughed as I recall the ten minutes we sat in silence as he pushed random buttons on the desk. "That is going to make the semester that much better!"
"Here. Let me put my number in your phone." Her perseverance was unfamiliar, but very much appreciated as a new personality. I pulled my phone from my pocket and handed it to her. "Oh, I don't think we can be friends." I looked at her confused. "You're an android person."
I laughed. "iPhone?"
"Live and breathe it!" She said as she pulls her colored case from her back pocket. I laughed and shook my head playfully. We said goodbye and went our separate ways.

Do you want to hang out and get coffee on Wednesday? A text from Hailey displayed on my phone as I sat in the waiting room of the vet office with Alyssa's cat.
She was outside taking a phone call and I was awkwardly looking around the small practice while her cat made terrified noises.
Wednesday is the day Logan is supposed to fly back in to town. I had no idea when he was going to arrive, but I do know that I want to be with him the first time I get the chance.
I can't on Wednesday. Friday work better? I replied before taking my attention to the glass door where Alyssa was walking back in with water filling her eyes. "Woah..." I began standing up to meet her. "What happened?"
"Nick told me that he saw Mitchel with that same chick from the other day." She wiped the lone tear from her cheek in hopes to keep her composure for the vet.
"Saw them doing what?"
"He said that he was with Mitchel and some other people and they went to pick her up and there wasn't enough room in the car so she sat on his lap and had his hand up her skirt."
"Alyssa, you and I both know that Nick isn't the most reliable source. Maybe you should talk to Mitchel before you say anything."
"I am going to do that." She said as she took a deep breath and sat back on the seat next to the carrier. She pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Mitchel. Before she sent it I could see what she wrote. When did you last hangout with Nick?
"Luna." A vet technician called from one of the exam rooms. We both got up and walked in. The vet drew some blood and told us to wait while he got the results.
She pulled out her phone and read the message out loud. "He says, 'Just the other day. Why?' What should I say to that?"
"Well, get all the answers you need."
"Ok. I am going to ask him who else was there." A few minutes go by and her phone vibrates. "'Some guys from the campus.' Oh he better not be lying to me right now." She types something into her phone and I am not sure what she asks, but puts the phone angrily back into her pocket when the vet walks in. He hands her a bottle of pills and instructs us to go back to the waiting room desk to pay the bill. "I asked him if she was there."
"What did he say?"
"He said she was, but nothing happened. If nothing happened then why would he not tell me she was with them?" She types again before placing the phone on the counter and grabbing a pen from the cup to sign the receipt.
Her phone buzzes while the receptionist is giving her instructions about the pills. I take a quick look at his response. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to worry you. I love you.
