The next day I made sure to act like nothing had happened. Morning announcements went smoothly and both Anna and Logan sat next to each other so I knew that they weren't too mad at each other. Bradley and James sat on both sides of me and would get into a conversation about something I knew nothing about.
First period came and we grabbed our normal seats. Mr. Reynolds collect our homework, with the normal Bradley taking ten minutes to go through his binder three times before finding the assignment he usually didn't complete fully. Mr. Reynolds was not a patient guy, but when it came to Bradley there was no rushing. If you tried it would only end up taking that much longer to complete the task at hand.
The next three days went by smoothly. There was only homework, volleyball practice and work. I occupied my time with stuff to do to make sure that I did not have another unexpected encounter with Logan. If Anna had seen me get out of the truck she did not say anything about it. It was Thursday and I only had to survive one more day until Friday. Seniors at my school did not have to go to school on Fridays. It was one of the best perks about being a senior.
Mr. Reynolds gave us a worksheet to work on for the entire hour class. Instead of working on the assignment that he would never collect we just sat playing around at our table waiting until the moment we could get dismissed.
"Logan, give me a piece of paper." Bradley asks while looking at Logan. Without question he reaches into his binder and pulls out a piece of paper and slides it over to Bradley. "Thanks."
"What are you doing?" James questions while trying to look over his shoulder.
"Shhh." Bradley over exaggerates as he covers the paper with his hands. "It's a surprise." James laughs childishly and sits back down on his stool. "Logan. I drew you a present!" He says proudly as he folds the paper in half and slides it across the table. Logan reaches for the present and opens the paper. He turns it around to expose a dwarf looking ogor with an arrow pointing towards it that reads "Logan." Bradley, James, and I laugh hysterically. Bradley begins to slam his hand against the wooden table. Logan wads up the paper and throws it at Bradley playfully causing him stop laughing instantly. Bradley has an insulted look on his face as he looks at Logan and then to the piece of paper on the floor. He reaches down and grabs the paper off the floor. He unwraps it and tries to flatten it out before he stands up with the paper and stupidly runs over to Mr. Reynolds' desk and grabs a piece of tape.
"Rogers. What are you doing?" He asks as he watches Bradley turn around to head back towards our table.
Bradley's eyes get wide as he turns around without moving his feet from the spot he is standing in. "I accidently ripped my paper and I am going to tape over it." Even though that was the worst excuse anyone has ever heard Mr. Reynolds only shakes his head. Bradley runs back to the table and tapes the piece of paper to the back of Logan's shirt. Bradley takes his seat again only for Logan to pull the paper from his back and crumple it back up and throw it towards Bradley once more.
"You are dismissed." Mr. Reynolds yells from his desk. Everyone gets up and walks towards the door. I reach the door the same time Logan does.
"So we going to go do homework at Heaven today?" Logan asked as we both stopped at the doorway to let each other through.
"Where?"
"I came up with a name, Heaven." He smiles and lifts his hand to instruct me through first.
"Oh. Well sir you will lose some points for turning in your assignment late, but I'll see if I can make an exception." I say as I step through the doorway.

Lunch comes and goes. I had told myself that I would not put myself into another situation like I had before with Logan. I didn't tell him yes or no to going to Heaven, but I really wanted to. The place was beautiful and there was a sense of calm overlooking the entire city. He is with Anna and when I was with Luis I would not have wanted him taking Anna to some magical place in the middle of the woods.
I sat at my normal table at the back of the auditorium and pulled my laptop out from my backpack. I opened the screen and stared at a blank Word document. I had to turn in an original story by Monday and had no idea where to begin.
"Looks like a great story you got going on there." A familiar voice said behind me.
I turn my body on the bench to see Logan walking aroundthe table to the other side. "It is a work in progress I assure you." I try andremain like a wall. He will not be able to talk me into going with himanywhere.
