Chapter 87

"I will see you all Thursday." Our Zoology professor said as he walked out of the room dismissing class early.

"What should we do with our extra time?" Hailey said as we packed our books into our backpacks.

"I hear there is a cafeteria hidden somewhere on this campus. I've never been there before."

"Perfect! You're in luck. I know where the cafeteria is!" We walked out of the lab and started to walk to the bookstore where the lowest level was a cafeteria with window walls surrounding many booths. We grabbed slices of pizza and grabbed the last available table. "So what do you have going on tomorrow?"

"What?" Her statement caught me by surprise.

"You said that you were busy on Wednesday."

"Oh right."

"So what you got going on?"

"It is kind of a long story." I looked down at the pizza sitting on the table.

She looked at her watch. "We have thirty minutes." She put her hands together and looked at me waiting for me to begin.

"Well, this guy, Logan is supposed to be coming back from Army basic training tomorrow and right before he left he told me that he had feelings for me and when he came back he wanted to see how things went between us."

"That is something out of a romance movie." She put her head into her palms. "What are you going to do when he gets back?"

"That's the thing, I don't know what time he is getting back."

"He didn't tell you?"

"He only told me that it would be the 27th. I am hoping that he will come and find me once he gets back."

"I want to hear everything!"

"I will tell you everything." I smiled at her and took another bite from my pizza.
