"Do you want me to push you?" Bradley asked as Alyssa and I sat on opposite sides of the donut shaped tube.
"Yes please." Alyssa smiled as we grabbed on to the handles. The mountain was tall, but the sled path was shaped so no one went flying off. Bradley pushed on our shoulders and sent us slipping down the mountain.
Both Alyssa and I screamed in enjoyment as the cold hair brushed against our faces and we quickly descended down the mountain. Two minutes of sliding we reached the bottom where the cars would take us back to the top of the mountain.
"That was awesome. We have to do that again!" I say as I stand up from the donut.
"Heck yeah! This time we will go down together, but holding on to each other's tube." She replied as we picked up each end of the tube and moved before Bradley and James ran into us.
"What did you guys think?" Bradley asked loudly when he stood up from the tube.
"That was amazing. We have to do that again!" I replied.
"I bet I could beat you all if we raced down the mountain!" James challenged.
"You're on!" I accepted. We took the car back up to the top of the mountain and waited until all four lanes were clear. "Ready?"
"Three... two... one! Go!" Bradley yelled as we all pushed off the top of the mountain. We all screamed in enjoyment as we raced down the hill.
I looked over to the lane right next to mine expecting to see Logan on a tube. As I was realizing that he wasn't there, my sled hit the bottom mound of snow. I look the other way to see that Bradley was already standing up with his hands in the air for a victorious praise. "I don't know why you all think you could ever beat me!" He joked as James was the last one to reach the bottom.
"I think this calls for a rematch. I think you cheated." I said jokingly as I stuck my tongue out at Bradley. Bradley opened his mouth and shook his head.
We continued to travel down the mountain and take the lift back to the top for the next two hours. Logan was going to be back in four days and my want for him to be here with James and Bradley at the top of this mountain was larger than the mountain itself.
"Are you ready for me to show you the best café in town?" Bradley said as we reached the bottom of the hill for the last time.
"I'm starving!" James said as we put our tubes into the return bin. We walked back towards the dorm building through the wooden trail as the darkness began to flood out the sun.
Alyssa and I used the bathroom in the restaurant to change into drier clothes.
We sat at the restaurant for over an hour laughing at stories about our college experiences. The Uber picked us up from the restaurant at six to take us back to the bus station. We all exchanged hugs as we got into the backseat.
