Chapter 56

This is a short chapter, but probably one of the most important!

I open my eyes to find myself leaning on Logan's chest. My hand is resting on his chest and my head feels the steady beating of his heart. His arm is holding me against him while his hand rests on the curve of my stomach. His other hand is loosely holding my forearm resting on his chest. I should move away, but I want to stay in his hold. His body is edgy, but soft. His arm is built, but comfortable. I had never been more attracted to a guy than I was right now.

I closed my eyes and just tried to go back to sleep. My side started to hurt from the position we were laying. I didn't want to move away from his touch, but if I didn't the pain would only get worse. I turn over and see the clock on the nightstand only reads 6 am. Not long after moving, Logan rolls over and puts his hand over my side and pulls me in closer to him. Oh, this feeling is not good. I close my eyes and try to think about other things then the gorgeous muscular man holding me tightly against his body.

I wake up again to see the clock reading 8:30. Logan is still in the same position he was earlier, but this time he was wide awake. I turn over not knowing how to confront what was going on, but just hoping he wasn't weird about it. "Good morning sleepy head." He says as he runs his fingers through my hair.
