I took the bag and walked into the other room. First, I cleared a big enough space to perform the spell and took out the white ritual candles to set them in various places around the room. Secondly, I took out the big mixing bowl and placed it on the ground in the center of the room and I snapped my fingers to ignite the candles. Next, I got out some chalk and drew some magical runes onto the floorboards, then proceeded to lay out the various herbs I'd need to complete the potion. The last thing I took out of the bag was three vervain charm bracelets I'd made special for each of us and one of the magical talismans I had Emily make for me back in 1864, which ironically ended up looking like an old Viking pendant.
