I Swear I like Girls (from TaeWoo's Point of View)

I woke up in the morning as usual, then walked straight to the gate where I relieved the two men taking me and HanDae's place for the night... since we both really liked to sleep. I of course arrived before HanDae, because he was probably tired from running from the wind tribe to fire tribe and back. I honestly don't really care. I usually just sleep with him at the gate anyway. It sucks I don't have anyone to lean on when I sleep, other than the wall.

"TAAAAE WOOOOO" I hear Han Dae's familiar voice call out to me from afar. When he gets closer I hit him in the head with my spear.

"Be quiet!" I snap at him," The entire village is going to wake up with your voice being the first thing in their heads. Do you want that?"

"I mean..." He starts," I have a wonderful voice. So why wouldn't I want them to hear my voice first thing in the morning?"

I looked at him for a moment," Han Dae,"

"Yes?"

"Do your job." I say bluntly.

"Yes sir!" He says, then salutes to me.

About 30 seconds later, we were totally bored of just watching the gate, so we fell asleep. We fell asleep standing, our backs pressed up against each others. His was warm against mine. Minutes later, we were completely asleep.

Later that day, we were rudely interrupted by General Hak who had arrived with a girl who looked a little younger than HanDae and I. She had red hair, violet eyes, fair skin, and a small frail body. She looked tired. I looked up at Hak. They.. were both tired. We let them in. Of course, we let them in after we bothered Hak a bit and letting the villagers bombard him... which was a total mistake, since doing so most likely caused the girl (who was obviously Princess Yona, despite the fact of never meeting nor seeing her, or Hak telling us) to collapse. She honestly looked cute, however, I had my eye on HanDa- Wait no. SHH!

Hak had brought the princess into a house and left HanDae and I alone, due to the villagers following him (cause he's a popular basta-)

"HanDae," I said crossing my arms.

He hummed in reply.

"Do you think that the red haired girl is cute?" I asked him.

He shrugged,"Yeah, I think she's pretty and cute"

"Oh. I see," I say slowly looking away," Do you think that if you ever have a chance, would you date her, HanDae?"

He started to laugh," I would never have a chance," He exclaims," I'd have a better shot marrying you than even getting a date with her, TaeWoo."

His remark made me blush a little," Oh!"

He turned a bit red himself," Sorry, that was a bit weird of me to say, huh? Well, don't worry, Taewoo. I swear I like girls."

My blush soon faded. What he has said... kinda hurt,"Would you...." I wanted to ask him, but I was evidently afraid that he'd hate me after.

"Would I...?" He asked.

"Would you date me?" I asked him trying to make it sound like a joke.

He let out a small laugh,"Yeah! I would," he says with a big smile on his face,"

I actually wasn't able to tell if he was serious or not, so I grabbed his shoulders and kissed him,"Okay!" I say turning around as fast at I could have hoping he wouldn't be able to notice that I was turning a bright red,"I guess you like guys too."
