I Promise

You were generally a shy person. You usually tried to avoid as many people as possible... Until the transfer student came. He was from Hakuryuu Academy  High School. Their mascot was the White Dragon. When he moved to Hiryuu Academy High School he ate on the roof...where you ate silently.

When he First Moved

You walked up the stairs to the roof. You sat on the bench and started to eat.

"Hey!" You hear a voice from above.

"What the? Who are you?" You say jumping up from your seat." Where are you?"

"I'm up here"  and there he was"The name's Kija, I'm the new transfer student here."

"Oh... Really?"you say. Kija jumps down from his spot on the roof where the door was and hold out his hand for you to shake. You shake it shyly."W-well nice to meet you, Kija."

"How about you, at my old school it was proper to introduce yourself." He says.

"O-OH! T-that's right, I'm (L/N) (F/N)! You say.

"Nice to meet you (F/N)" He say with a smile.

"Y-you too Kija." You say." N-now if you'll excuse me I'll be eating my lunch." You say sitting back down on the bench.

"Mind if I join you?" He says. His silver hair was swaying in the slow wind. It was rather calming.

"W-well I never eat with other people... S-so..."

"That's alright! Then I'll eat with you!" He says. —Jeez this guy is really outgoing isn't he—you think. Kija sits next to you opening his bento.

"So what brings you to Hiryuu Academy?" You ask trying to be as polite as you can.

"Well, since my father died and my mother is always working, my grandmother decided it would be a good idea for me to see other schools." He says.

"Oh, that's nice." You say picking at your rice.

"Why do you eat alone?" Kija says." I-If you don't mind me asking!" He says.

"It's fine, I don't mind, well I sometimes eat with other people, but they forget me the next day. So I just choose to eat alone."

"That's kind of sad, why not I eat with you." He says.

"Yeah... But you'll probably forget me." You say looking down.

"(Y/N), I promise you. I'll come here tomorrow and meet up with you."

"You sure?" You say. Kija grabs your head and pulls your forehead to his lips.

"Yeah, I promise."
