"Roo."

"Babe."

"Baby."

"Roo, Robyn, sweetie,"

"Robyn."

"Robyn."

I cracked my eye open slowly "What? What?"

"It's Christmas Eve.." He whispered like a big kid.

"You're suppose to be in the spare room."

He grumbled pushing his head into my boobs, it seemed these were growing at a rate too!

"I said I'm sorry."

"Where were you? 1am Zak? You couldn't have been at the museum all night."

"I wasn't." He answered.

I lifted my hand waiting for an explanation but he just smiled. "That would be telling."

"Okay who is she then?"

His face dropped "You gonna do this? Christmas Eve?"

"What else am I suppose to think?"

"I don't know? Maybe that you trust me a little fucking more than that?!" He rolled off the bed and slammed the bedroom door behind him.

"What am I suppose to think?!" I shouted hoping he could hear me.

I spent the morning out of his way trying to figure out how I was in the wrong?

If he wasn't at the museum where the hell was he?

"Are you coming to my moms or are you staying here?" He grunted.

"I'm not moving until you explain to me why you snapped so quick? Why are you so defensive?"

"I'm not."

"Not much." I mumbled.

"Do you want my explanation or not?!" He bit making me lower my head. "Don't get upset.."

I took a shaky breath "I-I'm not."

"Yes you are." He sighed sinking to his knees in front of me.

"Did you even remember?" I asked looking to him.

His blank expression said it all.

"My antenatal appointment? You know the whole baby scan, blood pressure, blood test and pee check? All the tests?" I reminded him.

It clicked causing his lips to part.

"Fuck! Fuck I am so sorry."

"It doesn't even matter." I grunted.

"Well, is everything alright? I- something is wrong? Is something wrong? Did the doctor say something?"

"I get that the museum is a high priority right now, I just wanted you to come home before I went to bed. I can't sleep right without you and the only time I felt safe was when the sun was coming up but by then I was so mad at you.."

"Screw the museum! Is everything okay?"

I shrugged "My blood pressure is all over the place, apparently it's common for it to be low. But mine was sky high when I went in, and I know why, it's because I was so mad at you! And I was worried about going out there!" I shot throwing my hand to the outside.

It wasn't something I could switch on and off, I almost cancelled the appointment but after everything, it was important that I went to make sure things were okay.
