It had been a week and a half since Dean ate my cherry pie. I sat down with him in the kitchen every moment we got, to make sure he would actually remake the pie I had been longing to eat. I wanted him to make it himself but after the twelfth disaster I was beginning to give up hope. I wasn't giving up on baking though. I had kept on making pies for all three of us in the time it took him to destroy the twelve Cherry's. I made apple, pecan, peach, and a whole slew of others. One day Dean found me in the kitchen just starting out on a new pie. He got all giddy and decided to sit in on the pie making session and actually took notes, from making a crust from scratch, to cutting fresh fruit, and adding all the key ingredients.

another week went by and when he wasn't working on a new case you could find Dean in the kitchen, looking through his notes, trying to make another pie. it always started out smelling delicious but turned burnt in a matter of moments. He cursed himself, tossed it in the trash, and began trying a new technique. That Saturday afternoon we all found ourselves with nothing to do, which meant that Dean found himself in the kitchen once again. When I walked passed I heard some arguing from the two brothers and then a timer going off. I ignored the commotion and made my way to the library to do some light reading. After about an hour I heard the timer go off again. this time I was met with a delicious smell instead of the horrid burning that usually followed. I still chose to ignore whatever was going on inside the kitchen just in case it was another pie turned disaster.

I kept reading about various lores when Dean came in. He was covered head to toe in various ingredients. It looked almost like he fought a monster in the pantry and it came out in top. There was butter smeared on his face, egg smeared on his jeans, and flour in his hair and coving bits of his shirt. When I looked up at him over the top of my book he was grinning from ear to ear.

"What's got you all excited?"

"I did it."

"Did what?"

"I did it, I successfully made a pie."

"Did you now?"

"It took a few tries but yeah. And it just so happens to be the cherry I promised you."

I smirked at him placing a book mark in my book and setting on the table in front of me.

"All right, let's see it then."

I stood up and followed him into the kitchen. It looked like a war zone. Ya know how I said it looked like he fought a monster in the pantry? Yeah maybe it was expanded past the pantry. There were ingredients on the ceiling and that was to say the least. I scanned over the whole kitchen looking from wall to wall when my eyes finally landed and a small pedestal that had the pie on it.

"So the pie?"

From where he stood next to me he turned slightly and pointed at it.

"Are you gonna let me eat it too Y/N?"

"It depends on how good it is."

I said with a wide smile.

"You get the ice cream and I'll get the forks."

He smiled back at me before doing as told. When he reached the table I had already taken the pie off the stand and placed it so it would be set between the two of us. I took the first bite and it was much better than I was anticipating. I mean it wasn't as good as mine but it was definitely the effort he put into it. He looked at me though asking for permission to sign in too. I nodded and skid it a bit towards him. When he took a bite his eyes rolled and he moaned very audibly.

"Ya gotta hand it to me Y/N I did a damn good job on this."

His mouth was full which caused me to laugh a little at him

"Your right Dean this is probably the best thing you've every made and I've seen you come up with and eat some of the most bizarre things."

He nodded in agreement as we both dug in some more adding ice cream to a few bites. We ate in silence for a while before Sam walked in.

"So who gets to clean up the mess in here?"

Dean and I just looked knowingly at each other before both of us turned and pointed at Sam. He rolled his eyes and walked out annoyed at the laughter erupting from the two of us.

"Seriously though Dean, you've got some work to do."

He pouted at me.

"Any way I could get you to do it?"

"Not unless there's another pie in it for me."

"Oh no, this was a fluke thing and there is no way I'm doing that again. I learned my lesson the first time."

I laughed an pushed the empty pie plate towards him.

"Then I guess you better get started master chef."
