I could see the sun rising as I made it to the next venue. My body was still aching from my night change and I was desperately looking to sleep. I wanted it more than anything. I couldn't keep it up anymore, slowing down and panting harshly. I didn't want to change anywhere near the venue or where people could see me but I knew I wouldn't make it much longer. Which meant I'd be alone in the snow for most of the day, completely naked, and that didn't sound like a good plan. As I came up closer to the venue I crashed. Falling face first into the melting snow and groaning as my body cracked and moved back to the way it was supposed to be, some blood here and there that had dried into my fur now falling off around me.

"Y/n!"

I heard someone call. I was grateful for a second. I looked up long enough to see Chris running after me with something in his hand.

"Y/n."

He said again, crouching down next to me. I felt extreme warmth engulf my body before passing out against him.

When I woke up I was surrounded by darkness. It took me a minute to realize I was in my bunk. I sat up slowly, pushing the blanket off but immediately pulling it back up at the realization that I was still naked. I groaned and dropped back against my pillow.

"For fucks sake."

I said quietly to myself as I rolled my eyes. Then the curtain was pulled back and I peered up at Chris who was now standing in front of me.

"Thank God you're alive."

He said. I sent him a look.

"Says the man who doesn't believe in God."

He rolled his eyes at me before handing me my bag. I sat up again, clutching the blanket to my chest.

"You could have dressed me."

I said looking up at him and he blushed, trying to avoid my gaze.

"Uh, yeah, sorry. Just didn't feel right. Plus you were pretty much dead weight."

I stood up slowly, stumbling forward and falling into him. He held me tightly.

"Whoa, okay, didn't know you two were into each other like that."

Both our heads snapped in the direction of aj standing in the doorway.

"I'm not-"

I started, shaking my head no.

"No, We're not-"

Chris motioned between the two of us, also shaking his head. Aj just laughed and grabbed something out of Vinny's bunk.

"Hey it's none of my business."

He said before walking back out into the front of the bus. I looked up at Chris as he helped me stand right.

"Whatever. How are you?"

Chris asked, trying to study my face. I thought for a second.

"I'm fine I think,"

I grabbed his hand and looked at it all bandaged up.

"How are you?"

He half smiled at me, letting out a nervous laugh and pulling his hand away from me.

"I'm perfectly fine. Nothing I can't manage."

I frowned at him.

"I told you not to follow me and I told you you wouldn't like seeing me change."

He smiled a little wider at me

"You make it sound like you could've stopped me."

I sent him a look.

"I could've killed you."

His smile slowly faded.

"But you didn't."

He pushed my hair away from my face.

"You went completely to town on that deer though. I don't think I've ever seen anything eat anything so fast ever."

We both laughed a little and I looked down, at least as much as I could in the small space.

"What can I say, changing takes a lot of energy. Not to mention the extreme blood lust you feel."

My eyes got wide and I shook my head.

"It's outrageous."

Chris looked a little confused.

"I guess there really are some things I need to learn about werewolves."

I laughed a little bit.

"I'd be glad to teach you some stuff if you'd want. A lot of the movies and things get it wrong, though the lore is pretty close to the truth. At least for my tribe it is."

He nodded.

"I'd like that a lot."

I nodded back.

"Yeah but I think right now I should probably get dressed."

I joked, making him laugh.

"I think you're right. And hey, maybe when tour is over we could hang out, just sit and talk about it some more. Heck maybe even on our next day off, if I can wait that long"

He winked at me and I smiled at him.

"You'd really wanna hang out with a monster like me?"

He smiled back.

"I couldn't think of anyone cooler to hang out with."

I blushed at his words, holding the blanket a little tighter around my body as it started to fall.

"Then it sounds like a plan."
