In which the two of you take a day trip to the Apple orchard and are super cute

This was super fluffy and Connor deserved better so that's what I gave him.

We walked hand in hand across the dirt parking lot. It was cloudy, the sun barely peaking through to illuminate the sky. It was chilly, the lack of sun allowing the breeze to take over the day. The ride to the orchard was a quiet one, but it was comfortable silence. The walk to the main gate was the same. No words exchanged, just small smiles and knowing glances. When we reached the front gate Connor was quick to grab his wallet and pay for us both before I could protest the gesture. He knew how much I hated people buying things for me but he did it anyway. I gave him a soft smile as he handed me my ticket.

"I really wish you wouldn't do that Connor."

He looked at the ground before looking back at me and interlocking our fingers again.

"I know, to bad I don't have the power to grant wishes."

He shrugged and smirked at me. I rolled my eyes and kept walking.

"So, Mr 'not a fairy godmother' what first?"

He laughed at me.

"Wanna walk around for a little while before actually picking apples?"

I swung our arms back and forth.

"Sure, I read online that they have snacks and a corn maze."

I winked at him.

"Sounds fun to me."

I saw two stands across from where we were stood, one was a hot food stand and the other was an ice cream cart. I got excited and he knew exactly what I wanted. I pointed.

"Let's get ice cream Con!"

I pulled on his arm.

"Y/n it's freezing and you want ice cream?"

I pulled him harder to get him to budge in the right direction.

"Yes sir, and maybe a funnel cake to balance it out before we get lost in the corn maze."

I turned and winked at him before letting go of his hand and skipping to the cart to look at the array of flavors they offered. I looked at con at a side glance before ordering a a scoop of coffee ice cream in a sugar cone, then ordering a hot fudge sundae.

"What's that for?"

I sent him a knowing look and he scoffed at me. I paid the nice man and took our Ice creams, handing the Sundae to Connor.

"I really wish you wouldn't do that."

"Sorry I can't grant wishes."

I said sarcastically and he rolled his eyes at the remark I quoted from when we got here.

"Thank you lovely."

He said and pecked me on the lips.

"Don't mention it."

I grabbed his hand as I kicked my ice cream and walked over to a vacant picnic table.

"So, now that we're here, what do you wanna do first?"

He took the activity leaflet out of his pocket that the ticket lady gave him and laid it open in the table.

"Rides, kids haunted house, petting zoo, corn maze, pig races, pumpkin launch, and then the orchard and the pumpkin patch."
