I hope y'all like it. This is the second imagine I've done so I hope it's not to bad.

Imagine the doctor with a vampire companion. He's always afraid of loving people because they have such short lives but a vampire can live forever. (Changed to fit the story but may do a part two)

All doctor x vamp will be a continuation of the previous story but you don't have to read them all in order (this is #1)

"DOCTOR!"

I ran through the streets making sure to take my time so I wouldn't miss him. I stopped and whipped around only to be caught by the arm and drug the opposite direction. I stumbled forward at first but caught my balance and trudged on beside him. When we were finally back on the TARDIS I sat on the ramp and huffed, watching him fiddle with the switches and things to take us back to deep space. I caught my breath slowly but didn't stand up until I saw the doctor fall into the chair behind the console. I walked to him and sat by him on the bench and breathed deeply, but didn't look to him.

"Should I ask you when you want to go? Or should I just surprise you again?"

I smiled to myself.

"You told me once that you aren't aloud to cross your own timeline yeah?"

He sat forward and looked at me, my eyes meeting his, studying his curious expression. I just smiled at him.

"youre right, have any ideas?"

i brought my hand to my chin and thought for a second.

"well we pretty much cant go anywhere near the whole Midwest of america from about 1800 to 2000, so theres that."

he looked at me dumbfounded for a second.

"why on earth not?"

i shrugged.

"because that is the time that i lived there, my family and i started a plantation in southern Missouri shortly before the Louisiana purchase was made. if you ever have a question about cotton im your girl, ive been running that 30 acres the last 200 years."

i just smiled at him but his face was one of confusion and deep thought.

"how could you have possibly been around then?"

i smacked his back before getting up and taking a small lap around the console.

"not everything is aliens doctor, sometimes demons and monsters make their way into the story too."

he stood up, mouth slightly agape.

"what is that supposed to mean?"

i just laughed a little and looked at the flashing screen in front of me that was littered with post it notes covered in gallifreyan.

"it means doctor, that ive been around for a good amount of time, but im not alien like you are, im just a simple monster straight from human story books and mythology."

he tilted his head like a dog would.

"what kind of monster is that then?"

i leaned forward over the console to look him in the eyes.

"ever heard of vampires?"

he snorted lightly.

"vampires? sure. i guess this is you trying to tell me that you are one?"

i nodded yes to him and stood upright to walk to him, taking his hand in mine when i made it to his side.

"do you not believe me? cause we could take a small stop somewhere on earth and i could show you."
