"Chris you know exactly why I can't do that."

He rolled his eyes at me.

"I'm still not convinced you're a time traveler. That's like science fiction, there's no way."

I took a drink from the juice pouch his mom gave me when I walked in the door.

"I don't know how else to explain it to you."

He sent me a look and half smiled.

"So you're telling me, that everyday for the last two years you have been coming to my time line, spending the day with me and helping me do homework and going to school with me just because you felt like it? Hell you even graduated last spring."

I shrugged.

"It's a little more complicated than that but yeah kind of."

He laughed and shook his head.

"Well forgive me for not believing you madam 'i just moved here and wanna know your life story.'"

He made air quotes with his hands before leaning back on the deck rail.

"Look, here, I can only prove it to your future self."

"Sure you can."

I stood up and went to walk inside.

"Hey wait, where are you going?"

He followed me, sliding his sunny D across the counter as we both made our way across the kitchen. I walked down the hall to his room.

"I'm going to give you something, and you had better not lose it or I'm gonna be hella disappointed in you in about fifteen some-odd years."

He looked at me funny before I ripped a piece of paper out of one of his note books. I quickly wrote down the address to my actual apartment and a date, telling him to leave me a warped tour crew pass. I folded it up before he could read it and handed it to him.

"Keep this safe, keep it with you at all times, and whatever you do don't forget about it."

He looked down at it.

"Can I read what it says?"

I put my hands on my hips.

"Not until after you start your band, get a feel for things and actually make it to your first warped tour."

He raised his brow at me.

"And when is that gonna happen?"

I shrugged.

"I guess you'll just have to find out."

He sighed.

"Fine, but where am I gonna keep this till then?"

"I don't know, figure it out, you're smart. Keep it in your phone back or something. Just don't lose it."

I walked back past him and out to the kitchen.

"And what if I do lose it?"

I turned around and faced him.

"Then you're going to have a very angry me to deal with every few years."

He laughed as we made our way back outside.

"Yeah okay."

"Y/n can't we be done with homework for tonight?"

He whined and looked at me, slouching further down into his seat at the table.

"I told you we had to finish this, plus you have an art test tomorrow."

He placed both his hands on the table palms down.

"this worksheet isn't even due for another week."

"Yeah but it's better to get it done now."

He groaned and dropped his head back.

"What are you my mother?"

I looked over the worksheet again.

"Of course not, but me being graduated already I want to help you succeed since I can't sit in class with you anymore."

He sat back upright.

"Fine but can we wait to do this one tommorow? I need to study more for that test."

I smiled at him.

"I think that's a great idea."

He took a drink from his sunny D bottle that he still hadn't finished.

"What's first?"

I looked over the study guide.

"What primary colors make up the color wheel?"

He sent me a look.

"Roy-g-biv."

"Okay, What are the tertiary colors?"

He thought for a second.

"The colors that are made up of the primary colors, so your red orange and yellow green."

"And?"

"And a bunch of others, it'll be easier to explain on the test when I can write it down."

I sent him a look.

"Fine, what three colors can the human eye see?"

He looked at me like i was stupid.

"Magenta, yellow, and cyan."

He groaned again.

"God, I've got this shit, can we go do something else now?"

I slid the paper back in his folder.

"Fine you had better get an A on this test."

"Yes ma'am."

He put all his stuff back in his bag.

"What about that chemistry work sheet?"

"Already done."

He said quickly and I sent him a look.

"Y/n it's done already, I promise. I'm bored, let's go do something."

"Like what?"

He stood up.

"We could bang."

I laughed at him as I followed him to his room.

"You're hilarious."

"What you didn't like our time together after homecoming?"

He sat down on his bed a little too hard and bounced a bit.

"No, I had a great time actually, but your siblings are here and your mom will be home any minute."

He laid back with a huff.

"Kill joy."

I sat down next to him and poked his side.

"Maybe next time, but I should probably get going, I've gotta get up for work tomorrow."

He sat back up and rested his head on my shoulder.

"I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Of course you will, when don't you?"

He stuck his tongue out and poked my cheek with it. I sent him a disgusted look before wiping my face off.

"When you go time traveling evidently."

I laughed at him and stood up.

"Yes, when I go time traveling, and hey, make sure you keep that note safe."

He held his phone up and slid the back off to show it to me covering the battery.

"It's not going anywhere."
