I laid still, breathing deeply as i looked at the plane white ceiling. I didn't want to wake bucky, who was sleeping next to me, quite soundly. I sighed and closed my eyes for a second, snapping them back open when I heard him stir next to me. He was already lying on his stomach but I watched as he pushed his body closer to me. He never once opened his eyes as he rested his chin on my chest and his metal arm across my waist. I ran my hand lightly over the glistening metal before bringing my hand up to play with his hair. It was something that usually soothed him and if he was awake even the slightest bit it would send him dosing right off again. And I was right, he moaned lowly and before i knew it he was snoring softly, his soft breath blowing against my neck and shoulder.

I smiled to myself reminding myself how lucky I was. I closed my eyes again, before opening them and rolling over. I pushed bucky back a bit as I did so we could cuddle, rather than him laying comfortably against my chest. He made a small grunt noise before falling asleep again with my fingers in his hair. We laid in bed, holding each other for a good ten minutes before I actually fell back asleep. The last thing I remembered was the light peering through the sheer white curtains.

I could feel Bucky's body pressed against mine when I woke back up. I wasn't sure how long we'd slept but I knew we were in a different position than before. This time he was holding me from behind, arms wrapped around my torso, spooning me. I ran my hand over his but didn't open my eyes. I could feel him lift his head off the pillow for a second before placing it back down at the nape of my neck. I sighed deeply as he did so.

"Good afternoon beautiful."

His voice was deep and gruff from a good night's rest.

"Noon already?"

My voice was almost as harsh, but the sentence came out much softer. His hand quickly made its way under my shirt to rub my stomach lightly but didn't move any further up.

"Yeah, babe, we slept a good 12 hours."

I removed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his and moved to look at him through sleep ridden eyes.

"That's okay, no one needed us today anyways."

He sat up a little bit and rested on his elbow so he could look down at me.

"It's a good thing too, I don't wanna leave you or this bed for the rest of the day."

He leaned down and kissed me softly.

"Mm, neither do I."

I kissed him back, bringing my head up to meet him before dropping it into the pillows and bringing him back down to me. When he pulled away I sighed heavily.

"I feel like I could just stare at you and listen to music all day. No talking necessary, I just wanna look at you."

He laughed at me and as he leaned down to kiss me again my stomach growled. I blushed and let out a nervous laugh.

"Evidently my stomach has different ideas."

He smiled at me, pecked me on the lips, and rolled out of bed. I pouted at him as I watched him walk around the bed to pull me out of it too.

"Come on, we can order pizza and cuddle on the couch."

He winked at me which got me to smile at him.

"You pick the toppings I'll pick the movie."

"Deal."
