i sat on the couch next to vinny and scrolled through my twitter. i laughed and leaned over to show him a funny dog video. he laughed too before i leaned back into my spot and we both kept doing what we were doing. i kept scrolling, getting a few notifications here and there. then i heard vinny sigh. i looked over at him for a second but just shrugged and went back to my phone, opening snap chat. then i heard him giggle at something. i looked over at him curiously but didnt say anything. the next thing i know i got a tweet notification of him asking if anyone wanted to go halves on a baby. i laughed and sent him a look.
"baby fever hitting you?"
he shrugged and kept scrolling down his phone.
"well i was looking at pregnancy announcement videos and then i was looking at babies falling and then i was looking at dogs playing with babies and now im looking at family videos and yes maybe i do kind of have baby fever."
he sent me a bashful look before turning his attention back to his phone.
"you still watching?"
he nodded and i shifted in my seat, scooting closer to him and looking over his shoulder, leaning my arm on him.
"aw!"
i said as i watched the baby on his screen sit down on top of an un-amused pug. we both laughed as it changed to another baby pulling on as husky's tail, the dog howling softly and making the baby giggle.
"see, who wouldnt want one of those?"
he said and i shook my head.
"i always thought i didnt but i absolutely love my nieces, theres just something about them being so tiny and then watching them grow up that just melts you."
he pouted as another baby video popped up.
"i want one, like right now. and like i know its work but just look at them."
he motioned towards the phone and we both melted at the newest video of a baby going down a tiny slide and laughing as it ran to do it again.
