I squinted at the sunlight peering in through the window. It was a quiet morning as we laid in bed together. I groaned as Steve's arms tightened around me. I squeezed my eyes shut tighter trying to ignore my need to pee. Steve kissed the back of my neck before nuzzling his face into my hair. I sighed heavily and sat up, him peeking at me through tired eyes and making a pouty face. I went to the bathroom and when I came back he was completely under the covers in a large ball. I laughed at him before pulling back the covers and climbing in bed next to him again.

"Good morning captain."

He pulled the covers away from his head and sent me a look.

"It's too early for formal titles."

I winked at him and snuggled up next to him.

"You're right, twelve thirty is to early."

He shot up and looked at the clock before plopping back down and rubbing his hands over his face. I heard a muffled "I can't believe we slept in that long" from him and let out a short laugh through my nose. I laid on my stomach and ran a hand over his chest.

"I think we both deserved it though. Specially after the mission we just got done with."

He dropped one hand beside his body and brought the other to the side of my face, his thumb gently caressing my cheekbone.

"You definitely deserved it after that, I still can't believe fury wanted you to eat those guys."

I laughed at the face he made and scooted up to him so I was laying on his chest. I ran a finger across his forehead to move some stray hairs.

"I mean I gladly would've if I hadn't have had a feast the day before."

He smiled at me and shook his head.

"It wasn't a feast."

I leaned down and kissed him.

"Whatever you say dear."

We walked into the lounge hand in hand. I swung our arms as we made our way to the couch. I sat quickly, looking up at Steve who crossed his arms over his chest in disagreement at Bucky and Clint arguing on the other side of the room. He shook his head before sighing and sitting with me. I interlocked our fingers again and watched the two. I turned my head to see Nat coming towards us and making herself comfy on the arm rest of the couch.

"These two still going at it?"

Steve scoffed.

"How long have they been arguing?"

We both looked at her.

"All morning."

We all looked back at them and heard Clint say loudly "let's ask y/n, I bet she'll know." My eyes went wide as they walked towards us. Bucky motioned towards me.

"Do you know what year the world's fair started?"

I drew my eyebrows together.

"I don't know."

Clint threw his hands in the air.

"What do you mean you don't know?!"

I shrugged.

"I'd heard about something like that while I was in Europe but I never actually went to one until I immigrated to the U.S. I went to my first one in Philly in 1876. Or was it 75? No it had to have been 76."

Both of them looked dumbfounded and speechless. Clint still looked a little angry though while Bucky just looked mildly impressed. I looked between the two.

"Ya know what you could do though? You could Google it like everyone else, I'm too old to remember half this shit anyways. I only remember actually going to like four of them. One in Philly, one in New York, one in Chicago, and one in St Louis. Or was it two in Chicago?"

I looked up in a thinking manner. I looked back at them and shrugged.

"Whatever, I don't remember. Like i said, I'm too old for this shit "

Steve laughed and patted my knee. We watched the two of them walk away bickering, Nat following with her phone out to video tape them. I shook my head and laughed to myself.

"I did not realize how old I actually was."

I looked at Steve and he offered me a smile.

"You and me both."

I smacked his knee before standing up and offering him my hand.

"Come on old man, I think it's time for lunch."

He reluctantly grabbed my hand and let me pull him to his feet.

"Only if you agree to ice cream after cause I know your gonna want steak from that restaurant Tony took us to last week."

I laughed and pulled his arm around my shoulder, interlocked our fingers.

"Deal."
