I sniffled and scooted further down into the couch, pushing the buttons on the game controller. Chris, Justin, and Ryan were all yelling at each other as we played the game but I just sat there in silence. I'd been sick all week and still felt like shit. My voice was shot and I was practically sneezing my face off but agreed to play with them anyway. Despite literally falling asleep sitting up, even with their commotion. My eyes were heavy and I could barely breathe. I just leaned over, resting my head on Justin's shoulder, who was sitting next to me.

"How are you literally dead right now and still beating us?"

Chris said, flipping his controller up, like it would make him move faster. Justin just laughed.

"Maybe she just has a really good partner."

He did a similar motion, trying not to move too much though so I would still be comfortable. Ryan kept clicking aggressively.

"Yeah right, she's doing better than you,"

He Pointed at the screen quickly.

"If it weren't for her you'd be dead already."

I blinked slowly, still clicking away. He was right, I was doing much better than Justin. He was basically just a sidekick at this point, whereas Chris and Ryan were doing about the same in terms of wellness. An actual team. My eyes felt heavier as I shook myself awake, sitting upright.

Ryan laughed a little bit.

"Dude why don't you go take a nap."

I leaned forward, resting my elbows into my knees.

"No, I'm fine, I can finish this round first."

I kept my gaze glued to the screen as my character dragged Justin around.

"You sure about that?"

Chris said, firing. It hit Justin right as he moved.

"Fuck!"

He yelled, making me laugh a little bit in my dazed state. I clicked a few times, harshly, hitting Chris back.

"Hey!"

He called. I just shrugged.

"Don't kill my partner."

Then Justin's character faded back in, the heart bar in the corner getting lower. I sat back up, resting into the couch as we continued. After about twenty minutes I was back in my spot, half leaning into Justin as we ran around in the game.

"Seriously?"

Ryan called as Justin shot him, laughing and pointing at his mad reaction. I tried to blink my eyes open but I just couldn't do it anymore. The last thing I remember was Ryan fading back into the screen and taking me out.

When I woke up again I could hear clicking still. I assumed the guys were still playing the game as I blinked my eyes open slowly. The first person I saw was aj, he was right across from me, complete attention on the screen above me. Then I looked up, wondering if Justin was still there and feeling kind of bad for falling asleep on him. I drew my brows together when I was met with Vinny's head of hair instead. I sat up slowly, causing the blanket that was now drapped over me to fall.

"Morning sleepyhead."

Chris said from the table, making me look over at him. I blinked a few time before rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

"Morning?"

I croaked out. My throat was scratchy and I still barely had a voice. Not much had changed in terms of that.

"Did you have a good nap?"

Vin asked, never looking away from the TV. I nodded.

"I must've if you switched places with Justin and it didn't even wake me up."

I yawned, rubbing my hands over my face, looking over at vin to see him now smiling wide.

"We kinda figured if you did wake up you'd just go to your bunk but no, you were out. Completely dead."

He laughed a little bit and I shrugged.

"How long was I out?"

I tried, looking at Chris. He looked at the time on his phone.

"About six hours."

He looked back up at me and my eyes were wide.

"Well shit."

Then Vinny paused the game.

"Hey!"

Aj said in protest. I looked at Vinny confused before he pressed his hand to my forehead.

"Well you still have a fever, I'm not surprised you slept that long."

I looked at him unamused as he pulled his hand away and went back to gaming.

"Thanks."

I said, looking up at Ryan and Justin as they came into the bus holding bags of food.

"Oh good, you're awake."

Justin said handing me one.

"Okay?"

I questioned as they began dishing out food to everyone.

"Hopefully that'll make you feel better."

Ryan said, sitting down next to AJ on the couch with his food. I looked down, opening the bag and peering down into it. I half smiled, still tired.

"Thanks."

I said, pulling the container of chili cheese fries out. Ryan smiled back at me, handing me a fork.

"We remembered you saying that was one of your favorites. now whether or not you can taste it at all is a different story but we thought we'd get it anyway."

I popped it open and dug in, humming at it.

"Yep definitely can taste, and definitely glad you remembered."

I looked between the two of them as Justin sat at the table with Chris.

"Thanks guys."

Justin smiled at me as he chewed.

"You're absolutely welcome."

"Hopefully this doesn't last much longer, we miss the not sick you."

Ricky said coming out from the back and taking a sandwich from Chris. I nodded.

"Yeah me too, oh what I would give to be able to breathe right again."

They all kind of laughed at me.

"Well you keep taking those meds and we'll keep taking care of you, I'm sure you'll be good in no time."

Ricky said and I nodded, biting into another fry.

"I think I can do that."

He nodded back, coming to sit on the other side of me on the couch.

"Good."

Then I sneezed and they all looked at me disgusted for a second before laughing.

"Here, take this."

Chris said, tossing the bottle of cough medicine to Ricky. I gladly took it from him.

"Thanks."

I said, popping the bottle open and taking a swig. I made a nasty face and shook my head, groaning.

"God This had better work."
