you all thought i was done with the miw posts lol sorry

Hi I wanted a breath of fresh air from my last few smuts. I know I keep doing them mostly for Chris but he's the only one I have the most experience writing *insert Harlequin/Castellum book reference here*

I wanted something different, Adventure type since I've been writing for doctor who recently for Christmas. So here is a highschool au (cringe, ope) of helping Chris out when the school bully Targets him.

I pulled my books out of my locker only to drop them on the floor, jumping at the sudden sound. I closed my locker to see the tall skinny goth kid get slammed into the lockers a few down from mine. The three larger boys hustling him and picking at his jacket and chest.

"What is your problem?"

The middle one turned to me.

"Why don't you mind your business?"

I picked my books up off the ground and shoved them into my backpack, tossing it to the floor. There was now a slowly gathering crowd, trying to see what they would do to him again.

"Why don't you pick on your jock friends instead? At least they have the emotional capacity of a spinach leaf, won't be as damaging in the long run."

Chris laughed at my comment but his face went straight when they slammed into him again.

"What did you just say to me bitch?"

He let go of Chris and all three of them stepped away, Chris adjusting his jacket and stepping away from the lockers. I knew he wanted to run.

"I said why don't you go beat each other up? Or maybe you're too emotionally invested in each other, which would make sense. Research states that those who are in tight knit groups like yours have strong connections, even romantic relationships."

Chris's eyes went wide and the leader stepped closer to me, his two buddies being a bit away to make sure no one got in the way of what could possibly happen next.

"Are you implying we pick on people because we like them?"

He said in a Stern tone and I shrugged.

"Those words came from your mouth not mine. I don't know do you fancy your friends? Maybe even have a little crush on Chris here?"

I sent Chris a knowing smirk.

"How dare you."

The boy went to grab me but I punched him square in the nose. He stumbled back a bit and I panicked. I ducked as he reached to grab me, taking Chris's hand in mine and pulling him down the hallway away from them, running quickly.

"Come on, they're gaining on us!"

He flailed his long limbs as we raced down the stairwell at the end of the hall, trying to keep up with me. I looked up as we reached the end of the stairs and they were stumbling over each other. I looked both ways down the hall before turning left and pulling Chris along with me.

"They're gonna catch us."

I looked back down the hall towards the stairs before stopping.

"What are you doing?"

I checked the janitors closet and it was unlocked. I smiled and opened it, pushing Chris in and joining him after, locking the door behind us. I covered his mouth to quiet him as he breathed heavily.

"Find them, I want them both dead."

I heard muffled down the hall. When the sound of squeaking tennis shoes ebbed I let go of Chris's face and breathed deeply, leaning my back against the door. He clicked the light on and looked around, trying to back up a bit but there wasn't much room. We were practically chest to chest, the sink and mop roller bucket taking up most of the space.

"Sorry, guess I didn't think this through."

He let out a nervous laugh.

"It's fine, it's better than being shoved and locked in the girls bathroom again."

I laughed.

"That was one time and I told you it was worth it. Those apes are too scared to even think about what goes on inside a women's bathroom that actually involves using it for it's intended purpose."

He laughed at my comment.

"Well I appreciate you sticking up for me, even if it does me dragging me down the hallway once or twice a month only to be shoved into weird closets and rooms."

I laughed.

"Seriously, how do you come up with all these places? You've shoved me in rooms I didn't even know existed in this school."

I stood upright, tilting my head up so I could actually look at him.

"That secret computer lab in the library was a doozy wasn't it?"

He smiled at me and nodded.

"Definitely, I had no idea it was even there. Who knew we had a school newspaper?"

I shook my head.

"No one, that's why we were hiding in there."

He tried to step back a little bit again but ended up stepping on the wheel of the mop bucket. I caught his jacket before he could fall and held him to me. I looked up at him and we both breathed deeply.

"Thanks."

He laughed out. I was still gripping his jacket tightly, keeping him to me.

"Don't mention it."

He placed his hand next to my head on the door.

"How long do you think we'll have to stay in here?"

I let go of his jacket, smoothing it back down. I turned around and pressed my chest and ear to the door. It was cold and made me shiver. I didn't hear anything anymore. I clicked the door unlocked and tried to open it but it didn't budge. I pulled again but to no avail. I turned and looked at Chris with a worried face.

"What's wrong?"

I pulled again.

"It won't open."

He sent me a look before pulling at the door too. He hit the wall.

"Shit!"

We traded places in the small space and he slammed his body into the door.

"Well what do we do now?"

I turned around, trying to see what kind of stuff was in the room. Then I clocked a small box window about eight feet off the ground, just out of reach. I turned and looked at him and he was looking up at the window.

"We aren't."

I shrugged.

"What if it's our only way out?"

He groaned.

"But how are we gonna get up there?"

I looked around again.

"Help me, kneel down."

He sent me an odd look before doing as told. I climbed up, using his leg, and stood in the sink, I could see perfectly out the window, it was level with the parking lot.

"Do you think you could help push me out the window? I can turn back around and pull you through, it might be easier since you're taller."

He put his hands on his hips, there now being room since I was in the sink.

"And what if they catch us outside?"

I sent him a look.

"Do you really thinks they're that smart?"
