"A murder case again?" isang baritonong boses ang agad na nakakuha ng pansin ko.
"Brandon?" Anong ginagawa niya dito?
Napatingin siya sa gawi ko at halata sa mukha niya ang pagkabigla. Hindi siya nagtanong subalit bakas sa mukha niya ang maraming katanungan.
"The victim is dead." Sabay kaming napatingin ni Brandon kay Josh na kasalukuyang binababa ang kamay ng biktima.
I looked at the corpse in front of me. His foot is facing the urinal toilet bowl. The zipper of his pants was also open. There was a red mark on his neck where blood spread all over his body.
Dumating din ang mga pulis dahil tinawagan agad sila ni Brandon Miller. Naidokumento nila ang pinangyarihan ng krimen at nakakuha ng mga posibleng fingerprint.
The victim's name was Anthony Vergara, twenty -one years old. He is a graduating student of the Intelligent Academy. Based on his casual attire it looks like he didn't go to academy.
The one who saw the victim was a ten -year -old boy. He lost consciousness and was taken to hospital.
We checked the surveillance camera and no one suspected. Wala siyang kasama. Ordinaryong customer na kumain sa labas.
We also checked his food. Wala din kahina-hinala.
Who killed Anthony?
Isang malakas na pagbukas ng pinto ang nagpahinto sa amin. Napatingin kaming lahat sa pinto ng restaurant.
Nabigla ako sa nakita ko. Puno ng sugat at pasa ang mukha ni Kurt at ang katabi niya. Siya yung lalaki sa harap ng restaurant! Siya 'yung lalaking nakita ko kanina bago kami pumasok!
Hawak-hawak ni Kurt ang dalawang kamay ng lalaki na nakatali. "This man is the culprit" Kurt said firmly. Bakas sa boses niya na sigurado siya sa ginagawa niya.
"We know him," Brandon said quickly. "He's one of the wanted hired killers. He's Bryan Peredes." The police immediately approached the killer and handcuffed him.
Tumingin ako kay Kurt because I felt like he want to say something. He nodded and began to speak. "Before we entered the restaurant I saw this man holding a phone. I was about to leave when I noticed that...
Huminto siya sa kanyang pagsasalita. I look into his eyes. May bagay siyang ayaw niyang sabihin.
"What did you notice?" tanong ni Brandon.
Tumitig si Kurt sa akin. "His wristwatch came from a syndicate." I feel like this is not the only reason.
Kumunot ang noo ni Brandon. "How did you know that?"
"Because I saw it in the news before. His wristwatch had a poisonous string, he used it to kill the man. It has a scorpion logo." Kurt paused "I think it's a logo of a syndicate reported before."
Isang beses nabalita ito but the name of the group was not mentioned kaya hindi ito naging headline.
"Since then, I haven't lost my attention to him. When I heard a shout I saw him running behind the resto. Mabuti na lang at hindi pa siya nakakalayo so I chased him and I saw that his wristwatch has also bloodstained."
Kaya pala malikot ang mga mata niya habang kumakain kami kanina.
Kurt looked at Bryan Peredes, "Which syndicate do you belong to?" Kurt asked seriously.
Bryan did not speak. If the wristwatch has a scorpion logo, it only means one thing.
I saw something under his sleeve. I approached Bryan and touched his right shoulder. Malakas kong hinatak ang kanyang t-shirt at nawasak ito. He has a scorpion tattoo that proves he is a Hunter. He is a member of Scorpius at tama nga ako.
