Myra's POV:

My head was filled with a steady throbbing when I woke up. I stayed motionless trying to remember where I was. Memories of the boy in the woods came flooding back and I sat up sharply and prepared to run. Sharp pain shot through my skull and I whimpered in pain. I opened my eyes slowly and only saw white. "I swear if I'm dead I'm haunting that stupid kid." I hissed through gritted teeth. As my eyes focused I noticed I was in some sort of infirmary. A smell that reminded me strongly of a doctor's office wound its way through the room. I put my head in my hands and whimpered again.

"Kayla you can go back to your cabin. I'll give Myra her nectar shot." A boy's voice instructed.

"Thanks Will! Oh! How is Cole doing?" The girl, apparently Kayla, replied.

"Better than yesterday, poor kid's mostly confused, I'm hoping he gets claimed soon."

"Me too. Well, I'll see you later." I noticed Kayla's voice had taken on a grim tone. But I was mostly focused on the word "claimed", what did she mean by that?

"Bye Kayla!"

I started to get out of the cot I was in. It was probably the most comfortable thing I had slept in for a long time, but there was no way I was gonna be trapped with Will. Especially not with a shot. No thanks, buddy. Shots are not my thing. I stood on my feet, wobbling slightly as I heard the footsteps getting louder. I saw a chest at the end of the cot across from mine. Opening it, I saw it was empty and quickly hid inside it, trying to ignore my pounding head. Just as the chest clicked shut, the boy walked into the room. He first wandered over to a cot closer to the door and began to talk.

"Hey Cole!" This kid sounded way too peppy for my taste. "I'm just here to give you your checkup. After that you can go out and get a tour of camp. Remember anything else?" Will's voice was laced with concern. The other boy, Cole I'm assuming, didn't respond. I'm assuming he shook his head no based on the disappointed sigh Will let out after.

"I'll be back, I just have to check up on the girl Leo hit with a wrench." He sounded annoyed. To be honest I was annoyed too. I mentally took note of the name and listened as Will's loud footsteps got closer to my cot.

"Can I come?" A new voice spoke. The creaking of a cot told me it must have been Cole. He sounded unsure of himself, like he didn't know why he wanted to come.

"Sure!" Will seemed thrilled, but his shout had only cause my headache to grow stronger. I let out a quiet whimper and gritted my teeth, hoping they didn't hear me. Will walked straight past it, his loud footsteps sending sound waves of agony through my skull. Cole was a lot quieter and I was very grateful for that. He paused by my chest for a second, but walked passed it and stood next to Will. I heard curtains opening and held my breath as I listened for their reactions.

"You sure this is the right one?" Cole's monotone voice asked again. Will was apparently shocked into silence. I could hear the two of them moving aside curtains on the other cots to avail. At one point Cole reached down to open my chest, but Will instructed him to check the nearby bathroom. While Cole was gone, Will began muttering things to himself like "She shouldn't even be awake." And "Worse than Nico di Angelo." I wasn't sure who Nico di Angelo was, but he had already gained my respect. I tried not to make any noise as Will sat down on top of my chest. He suddenly stood up and I knew what was coming. I prepared myself to leap up and run as I heard the chest unlatch.

"All clear." Cole had returned and the signature popping noise of a soda can accompanied him. Will huffed and let the lid of the chest fall out of his hands. I withheld a sigh of relief as he walked over to Cole. They walked out of the room while Will mumbled about talking to Chiron about me being missing. Cole didn't seem to care, but I heard the crackling of his soda can get further away. I waited in case they came back, but my head was pounding which quickly exhausted me. I fell asleep at some point during the night.

I woke up fairly disoriented and whacked my head on the top of the chest. My head still hurt, but not nearly as bad. Hearing no noise, I crept out of the chest and stretched. My bones cracked and I wobbled on my feet slightly. I knew I had to get out of this creepy hospital before some ragey ghost decided to kill me. This had actually happened before. Remember, silver mirrors save lives kids. Anyways, I made a quick dash for the door. The sun was just rising as I stepped into the daylight. I stopped and rubbed my eyes, giving myself a second to adjust to the light in order to figure out where the exit was. I started to run for the group of trees nearby when I was, quite literally, swept off my feet by a blonde haired boy. He had picked me up and easily swung me over his shoulder like some low priced backpack! I'd like to think I'd be a high quality handbag! Or at least one of those L.L Bean backpacks, those things can kill a hellhound and still hold onto all your valuables! Trust me I know that from experience.

"Knew I'd catch you eventually." He smirked as I pounded my fists on his back and kicked him repeatedly. He seemed to have no problem with this as he sauntered back to the infirmary. I continued to fight him, but to no avail. I screamed for help, but everyone just looked at him first and he waved them off. He opened a cabinet and grabbed something I couldn't see and carried me back to the cot. Instead of gently placing me down like any sane person would, he threw me onto the cot. I stared at him for a second and got quiet out of confusion. He quickly pulled out an object, which I realized was a pair of handcuffs and with lightning speed chained me to this prison of a bed. I snarled at him and aimed another punch, but he rolled his eyes and stepped out of range.

"My name is Will, Will Solace." He said calmly and leaned down so his face was right next to mine. He attempted to make eye contact, so like an rational human being, I full on headbutted him. Will swore, clutching his face and glaring at me. "I'm just trying to help you, Myra!" He complained. How did he know my name? I glared at him, but he was staring at the chest I had left wide open in my urgency to escape. "You stayed in there? All night?" I had yet to respond to him and didn't plan on doing it. I looked away and crossed my arms. "You've got to be kidding me." He sighed coming closer again. I decided he was very stupid and prepared to attack again. I automatically reached for my sword, but finally realized it wasn't there and that I hadn't seen Ben since yesterday. Will noticed my sudden panic and looked a bit sympathetic. "It's alright Myra, I'm not going to hurt you." He took a step closer and I moved backward, my wrist chafing against the handcuff. I winced in pain and he took a step backwards. "I'm going to get you something. Stay here." He ran off and I rolled my eyes. I didn't exactly have a choice in whether I stayed here or not. He came back with a silvery liquid in a glass and handed it to me. As I squinted my eyes at it, something about unicorns stirred in my memory.

"Unicorns..." I stared at the glass and shifted my gaze skeptically back at Will. He looked surprised. He studied me for a few moments before replying.

"Yes, unicorns. Now please drink it, I can't let Ben visit you or give you your sword back until you do." He spoke softly, trying to appeal to me. I didn't have much of a choice, but to trust this kid, especially when he was dangling the only two things I cared about in front of my face. I downed it in one gulp and immediately felt woozy. I glared at him with the best look of betrayal I could muster.

"Unicorn draught." He explained. The last thing I saw before I blacked out was him walking over to a medicine cabinet with the empty glass in hand.
