Camp Half Blood: A Salty Sequel//Chapter Thirty-Two

Rose's POV:

I bolted into a cabin, not sure which one because my desperation was blinding me. Unfortunately it was the Demeter cabin, Nathan's cabin. I scrambled around, looking for an escape route, but I froze when I heard the door shut behind me. "Oh gods... kill me." I muttered under my breath.

"Suggestive much?" Nathan had a wry smile on his face. Every step he took towards me, I took backward. I bumped into the edge of a bed as I backed against a wall. Nathan waltzed up to me over confidently and grazed my cheek with his hand, sending shivers down my spine. "Trust me... I'll make you feel more alive than ever..." I tried to leave, but Nathan intervened. "Going somewhere?" Nathan whispered, his voice becoming lower as it took on an, almost, raspy tone.

"N-Nathan. No. Don't you dare." I backed away until I was on the bed, against a wall. Nathan sat on the bed so he was on his knees, placing a hand on either side of my head. "Nathan! Your siblings could walk in any minute! Or Chiron! Or-"

"It's noon. Chiron will be overseeing lunch, my siblings will eat and then go check on the strawberry field, and I locked the door. You're all mine. Unless you don't like me, but something's telling me that's not the case. Is it, Rose?"

"What if someone needs me!" I tried to protest.

"No one needs you more than I do." Nathan practically growled, leaning in closer so his face was just inches away from mine. "Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep my emotions concealed? Day after day, I see you with Ben. But I know you're mine. I'd do anything for you, Rose." Nathan rasped and pressed his chapped lips onto mine for just a moment before pulling away. "You can't tell me you don't feel the same... If you don't I'll let you leave. Right now."

"No! I-uhh... please don't go..." I practically whimpered, wrapping my arms slowly around Nathan's neck. A wide smile lit up Nathan's face as he slowly kissed my jawline.

"I always knew you were mine, Rose." I tugged at Nathan's shirt desperately and he quickly took it off. Whimpering as I traced his muscles with my hands. He pushed me back against the wall, whispering about how beautiful I was to him. We froze as we heard knocking at the door. I became panicked and curious as to who it was.

"Nathan? Have you seen Rose? I'm looking for her!" It was Ben calling out to us. I shot Nathan a panicked glance.

"Well she's not here!" Nathan snapped. Ben's retreating footsteps could be heard as Nathan turned back to me. "He's not coming near you ever again." He hissed before kissing me again, roughly. Things escalated until... "Rose? Rose!?" I shot up to a sitting position, opening my eyes. It was.... it was just a dream? B-but it seemed so real!? Gods... it was so, pleasurable but... it seemed wrong. Off... "Rose, You uh... you ok?" Nathan asked me. It was still nighttime, thankfully, but I could faintly see.

"Y-yeah." I stuttered out in a whispered tone. "I'm alright, Nathan... uh why?" He looked down, so I wasn't able to see his expression.

"You were... y-you we're uh... saying my name in your sleep. In like an... interesting way?" He awkwardly attempted to say. I could feel my face beginning to heat up profusely, knowing exactly what he meant.

"Gods I'm sorry, Nathan. I-I uh... it was just a dream. N-no big deal." I smiled awkwardly. He did reply, I mean, how do you reply to that? "Let's just go back to sleep." I said slowly, lying back down. After a while, Nathan did the same. I felt super awkward, but then Nathan slithered his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I put my hand in his, holding it as I fell back asleep. I dreamt of nothing until I was finally awoken by Nathan turning over in his sleep. I got up and went through my normal routine before we were going to walk again. After I was finished, I grabbed breakfast bars for everyone and brought one to Nathan first, waking him up and handing it to him. "Nath, I'm gonna wake everyone else up and then I'll come back to you so we can walk together, alright? Get ready quick, cause I'm sure we're gonna wanna get going soon." Nathan nodded, still groggy, taking the bar from my hand. I kissed him on the cheek, making him blush, and then I walked over to Cole. I woke him up, handing him the food for both him and Myra, without a word, and then went over to Ben. "Hey, Ben." I said seeing he was already awake.
