Rose's POV:

I woke up early this morning, once again, to Percy shaking me lightly. "Morning, Rose!" He exclaimed happily. "Ready for another day of training?"

"Oh always." I said groggily. "What's the schedule for today, Perc?" He smiled.

"Well today, I think you should go get some breakfast and then meet me at the arena so we can practice some weapon combat. Afterwards, we'll meet up with Ben and Myra and you'll practice using your powers alongside Myra. And then we'll start some hand-to-hand combat for maybe an hour, but we can always practice more tomorrow."

"Wait wait, I'm working with Myra today?" I said nervously, the shaking in my voice evident in every word.

"Hey, don't worry about it. I saw Ben going to the infirmary this morning. He probably talked to her, so don't worry about it. If I see her during breakfast, I'll go tell her her schedule too. Everything will work out for the better, Rose. I promise."

"Thanks, Percy. I appreciate you saying that." I said sincerely.

"Alright, enough with the sappy stuff. I'm hungry. Go change and then we'll go get some breakfast."

"Ok, one sec." I said as he left to wait outside the door. I threw on a pair of ripped skinny jeans, one of my CHB shirts that I've never worn, and some red vans that I had throughout my seven month journey. I guess I never wore them because, when I took them out of my bag, they were super clean. I then brushed my hair out and put it in a messy bun. Leaving the cabin, Percy and I were off to the Pavilion.

We got to the pavilion and grabbed plates of food and then sat down with Annabeth, Leo, and Jason. For a while, we were just chatting. Ben soon came and sat down with us. He didn't have a plate of food. "Did you eat, Ben?" I asked him.

"No, I'm not really hungry." He replied with a sigh. I knew he was hungry, but something seemed to be bothering him.

"Here, share with me, Ben." I said putting my plate in the middle of us and handing him my fork.

"Thanks." He said shyly. He then started, slowly, eating my breakfast. We sat in silence for a bit, but my curiosity got the better of me.

"So?..." I said, just as I noticed Myra had already sat down. "What'd she say? Did you talk to her?"

"I did talk to her. She's an amazingly stubborn girl. I don't think she's going to go up to you to talk, Rose."

"What? I didn't ask you to-" he cut me off.

"I know, I know. But I think it'd be best if you guys met. You'll be practicing together later today and I think you should talk before she does something. I don't want her to like... kill you or something." I got scared when he said this and he could definitely see the fear in my eyes because he quickly took it back and said, "No no, Rose. I did not mean it like that. She wouldn't do that. Well, at least I think she wouldn't do that." I got even more scared. "Nope, Rose. Look at me." He grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eye. "I'll be there during your training session with Myra, ok?" I nodded my head, his words calming me down a bit. "Ok, ok good... Rose?"

"Yeah, Ben."

"We should go over to talk to her now." I looked over to see that Percy was over there, seemingly, finishing up a conversation. I hadn't even noticed that he left in the first place, but he was already coming back.

"Alright. Are you coming with me?" I asked.

"I think you should go alone, Rose." He said cautiously. I looked at him, a little unsure of myself. "I think she's had enough of me for today. And I'll be right here if you need me, ok?" I took a deep breath and glanced over at Myra before I replied.
