Ben's POV:
I'm walking with Cole in silence when, suddenly, I get an immense headache. I try to shake it off, but it just won't go away. "Hey, Cole? Can we stop for a sec?... something's... something's off." I say as I stop and he looks back at me with a concerned expression.
"Yeah sure, let's go over here." He gestures to a large log nearby. I nod at him, holding my head with my hand now. Once we're there, I sit myself down and put my head in my hands, sighing. "You alright, man? Are you gonna be sick?" When I try to open my mouth to reply, my mind stops me and my vision goes black and, for a split second, I see Rose lying down on cement in a dark room, unconscious. I immediately get up and start running forward, trying to get to Rose. I'm not thinking straight and I feel sick to my stomach. I can't get far enough as I wanted to when Cole grabs me and holds me still. His arms are on my shoulders, holding me in place. "Ben?! What the heck is going on? Are you ok!?" I look him in the eye, tears streaming down my face.
"I-I don't know. I-I s-saw Rose and sh-she's not ok, Cole! W-we need to get t-to her! Pl-please, Cole." I stutter out helplessly. He nods at me with a calm expression and leads me back to the log to sit.
"Ok, Ben. We'll find them soon. Rose is gonna be alright... Can you tell me what happened?" He asks cautiously. I nod and look down at my feet when I continue to speak.
"I saw her... for a split second, I saw her... she was lying there. Unconscious. On the ground. Sh-she looked so... so helpless..." I couldn't finish my thought as my words choked me up.
"Are you sure it's not just your mind playing tricks on you, Ben?" Cole asked, sincerely.
"No... it was real, Cole. I swear it... it was too real... we need to get to them, and quick." I looked at him with urgent eyes. He nodded and got up, lending me a hand so I could get up too. We looked at each other for a second and then we nodded at each other. The signal to keep going. Keep walking. Closer and closer to them... closer and closer to Rose.
