Will's POV:

After we left Myra, Rose and I started walking in the halls. I tried to talk to her, but she stayed silent. Suddenly, she stopped walking. I turned around. "Rose? What're you doing." I took a step closer to her. In one motion, she had me against the wall, holding me there with one arm and then holding my neck in her other hand.

"You're not taking me to Olthen are you, Will!?" She whisper yelled at me. My face heated up and I started to become really scared. She was stronger than I thought. I didn't try to get away though because I had a feeling she'd never hurt me... but then again I never saw her doing this either...

"L-Listen, Rose I-" she cut me off, tightening her grip.

"Answer me, Will! No bullshit this time!" She said in the same, furious tone.

"O-Okay okay! I-I wanted to t-talk to you about it before we went anywhere. I j-just need you to know the risks, Rose. I don't want you to get hurt..." I trailed off quietly.

"Oh, you don't want me to get hurt!? Well we both saw Myra, and you were planning on making me like that too! That hurts, Will! You of all people know my emotional state right now! That would hurt me more than any weapon could!" She raised her voice even more. I lowered my gaze but she was dead set in her ways. "Look me in the eye, you coward!" She yelled again, furiously.

"I-I'm sorry, Rose... I never meant to h-hurt you... you mean so much to m-me... th-that's the last thing I want is for you to see Olthen and risk your life. I risk mine everyday seeing him! I-I've done things with you... th-that would get me in more trouble than you could ever know, Rose. B-But I did it... not just because we were having a moment... I-I wanted it to happen. I d-don't want to live this life anymore, Rose..." I poured out my heart to her, never breaking eye contact. Everything I said was true... she waited a moment, glaring into my eyes... into my soul. Then she released me, taking two steps backwards. "Rose? A-Are you okay?" I asked.

"S-Son of D-Demeter..." she stuttered out, her voice was quiet, matching her shocked expression. I nodded my head giving her a questioning look. "I-... I'm sorry..." she said, a tear falling down her cheek. She fell to her knees, but I grabbed her waist, pulling her close to my chest while she wept.

"Hey, hey... it's alright." I cooed to her. It didn't help as she started to cry more. I decided to pick her up and bring her to my room. I did so and then sat her down on my bed. She didn't let go, so I picked her up again, sat down myself and let her sit on my lap. We stayed like this for about five minutes until she pulled away, looking into my eyes. "Are you okay?" I asked. She nodded sadly.

"Y-You remind me... of my boyfriend." My face heated up and I shied away a little, feeling uncomfortable knowing she was in a relationship. "He uh... passed away..." she trailed off, another tear escaping her eye. I wiped it away cautiously, she closed her eyes the second my finger touched her cheek, leaning towards me. "I miss him, Will. I really do... I'm still not over this and I-I don't know why..." I nodded my head. I didn't completely get how she was feeling, but I knew she was still hurting a lot. I could feel that in her.

"I... I'm sorry for your loss, Rose." I said quietly to her. She smiled at me.

"It's nice when I'm with you, you know? You have the same parent sure... but like... your mannerism is so similar to his. It may sound weird, but when I'm with you... it makes me feel like happiness isn't so out of reach." She smiled. I smiled back at her. She rested her forehead on mine and I rested mine on hers. "It's so crazy... it's weird, Will... when I had you pinned against the wall," she let out a small laugh. "I knew it should have felt right. Getting my revenge on you or... whatever. But... I didn't want to. I-I just want to go home, Will. It's not right... seeing Myra like that again... I don't want her to forget me..." She spoke earnestly. I sighed.
