Cole's POV:

I've been watching from afar everything that's going on. Fights, anguish, the lot. I saved Myra from being caught, but she just put herself right in an even worse situation. God Myra, a little stealth and thinking might come in handy from time to time, ya know? I need to help her get out of that infirmary. She seems like she wants to leave really badly. When Percy leaves it'll be the perfect time. I'll only have a short interval of time to slip in and out before Will comes back to check on her. Thankfully, my ankle is feeling better and I can almost run. It's more like a limping jog to be honest, but it'll have to do for now. Ben is already talking to Rose and things seem to be going pretty badly, maybe? I don't know. Percy's gone, it's time to make my move. I jog as fast as I can to the front door of the infirmary once Percy is, fully, out of sight. I rush over to the side of Myra. "What the- who are you? What are you-?"

"No time to talk," I say as I fiddle with her handcuffs. "The names Cole and I'm getting you out of here." I know how to pick the lock and get it open with ease. Don't ask how I know how to pick a lock, I'm not exactly sure myself. Once I get the whole cuff off of her, I grab her hand to see that it's bleeding. "Damn, what happened to you..." I grab some bandages and say, "come on let's go." She nods and, without hesitation, we're off. She can see that I have a limp and can't run so she supports me. We're going at a good place and stop behind a tree in a forest kind of area. She sits me down, but I pull her down to sit with me. I pull the bandages out of my pocket, luckily none fell out during the escape. "Thanks for getting me outta there, Cole."

"No problem, Myra." She gave me a weird look.

"How do you know my name?"

"I was the one who stopped Will from looking in the chest you were hiding in. Did you think nobody heard you in there? You're lucky Will's just oblivious."

"Oh... well thanks again then. How'd you know I wanted to leave?"

"You're a loud complainer, Myra." She chuckled and slightly blushed.

"Well, give me your hand now. I gotta patch it up." She gave me her hand that I handled with the bandages as softly and feebly as I could as not to hurt her. I could feel her gaze on me as I slowly wrapped the bandages around her wrist. Then I looked up at her. "A-all set, Myra." She just slowly nodded and then our moment was ruined by yelling.

"How in the hell did she freaking get out of those handcuffs!? Dear Gods what am I gonna do with her!?" It was Will.

"Come on Myra, we've gotta get out of here." I started to get up but she pulled me down. "Myra, what're you doing, we've gotta go!?" I whisper yelled.

"I... I don't know if we should do that." I was so confused. I thought she wanted to go and get away from these people!?

"What!? What do you mean you don't want to go!? Myra, if we go back we're both going to get in trouble for trying to escape."

"I... I'm sorry I don't think we should go. There's something pulling me to stay. And trust me I'm fighting it with all I've got but this damn feeling won't go away."

"God..." I said fixing my hair in aggravation. "I... ok."

"Ok?"

"Yeah... lets go back. But we have to come up with a plan. Like... you can go back and lay in bed and I'll be sitting there pretending to talk to you or whatever and we can just say that you had to go to the bathroom, so I picked the lock to get you out."

"Will will think I tried to escape. Not gonna lie, it's gonna be pretty funny."

"Ha... yeah. Guess so. But we gotta go now, look." We peaked around the tree. Will wasn't near the infirmary so we could easily sneak in and get in position. "Lets go, come on." We made a slow jog for it. From afar it'd look pretty pathetic, but it was truly intense. Once we made it back, we got into position. She laid on the bed and I sat in the chair that was already placed next to her bed. Just then, Will came in, and with a huff, put his hands on his hips, breathing intensely. Then he noticed us. "C-Cole!? Myra? What the- what the heck!? How... what?... so tired... oh gods." He sat down on a bed, out of breath.

"Will, she had to go to the bathroom so I picked the lock and escorted her there. Dude, you gotta think about the patients sometimes." He gave me a confused and tired look.

"Seriously? Did she try to escape?"

"Nope, she just had to use the bathroom. You alright, bro? Why are you so tired?"

"Well I was looking for her!" He pointed at Myra. "But I guess I don't have common sense..." he said getting disappointed in himself.

"Hey, I know I should've waited for you to come back, but I just couldn't. And I don't think you would've let me even if I asked. And I'm not using one of those gross freaking bed pans." Myra exclaimed to him.

He laughed. "Yeah, well sorry about that."

"And Will?" Myra asked.

"Yes, Myra." He said gaining composure and energy.

"I won't try to escape anymore. Or hurt you. I promise. I'll stay and be a good little pet."

"Now that's what I like to hear!" She gave him a look. "No no! Not the pet part! You're not a pet, just the not escaping and or hurting me part. I liked that." We all smiled.

"Well I should get going." I said sadly getting up from my seat.

"No, Cole. Stay. We should talk a bit. Get to know each other." I smiled weakly.

"Ok." I said and took back my seat. Will seemed to trust her for some reason. Probably since someone's in the room with her. And maybe from her "sincere" apology. I knew she still hated him, but she needed to get on his good side. I'm glad she finally understood that. Get on people's good side in order to get what you want.

"So where are you from?" She asked me trying to spark up conversation.

"I... I don't know." I said with all honesty. My memory hasn't come back yet, and I'm not really counting on it to. I've kind of come to learn that and to accept it.

"What do you mean you don't know?" She asked curiously.

"Well, when I got here I was laying in the forest with no memory of where I was or how I got there. I only knew I was in pain and needed help. I was saved by some camper here named Jason. He brought me back to the infirmary and pretty much saved my life."

"Oh wow man, that's sketch. Sorry about that."

"It's alright, I've accepted the situation I'm in so it's whatever." I said shrugging it off.

"Well, alright I guess. That really sucks though."

"Yeah ha... I know."

"Well I guess we don't have much to talk about then."

"I mean, not about me ya, but you can tell me about you. And if you don't want to I can always make new memories and then we can talk about that?" I joked.

"Yeah totally! But I'll tell you a little about myself I guess, just to fill the time and silence."

"Alright, go for it."

"So lets see, I'm from Ayrith, I go to APS which stands for Ayrith Public School, obviously. Uh... let's see. I love mythology and I'm super into reading and writing."

"Cool, but now for the real question. The most serious of any question that will determine our future forever."

"What." She said in te most serious tone she could muster. She sounded like she was accepting a battle and asking what she "must do."

"What is... your favorite color?"

"Whoa, man! You're taking it way too far right now."

"I know this, but I must know your answer. Do it for the sake of humanity, Myra. You must."

"Well... I'd have to say-"

"Don't get it wrong!" I jokingly warned her.

"Ok ok... I can do this..." she thought for a dramatic moment, "I'd have to say forest green."

"Oh thank god! You got it right! Humanity is saved thanks to you, Myra!" I said excitedly and we both cheered.

"Well we've been talking for a while... wanna go get something to eat?"

"Sure, let's go." We got up to head to the dining Pavilion to get some food. I could tell that Myra and I would be good friends. I really enjoyed her company. An hour could feel like a minute with her. All time can be lost. I just hope she feels the same...
