Myra's POV:

I woke up early, or what I would assume is early since Rose was always awake before me. From what I could see, she was still fast asleep. I didn't want to bother her so I kept to myself, trying to process everything that had happened in the past few days. It had been a while before I heard footsteps down the hall. It was Will with two plates of food in hand. I felt fear shoot through me, but I refused to show it. After what happened yesterday I couldn't afford to show any weakness. Will slid the plate underneath the bars. I glared at him and remained rigid. I couldn't quite see what was on the plate from here. The lighting in my cell was beyond awful. Will must've seen my confusion as he took off his bandanna and smiled before speaking. "It's not poison, just eggs." He said calmly. I stayed quiet and continued to glare, hoping he'd go away and not give me any shots this morning. Will rolled his eyes and turned his back on me, walking over to Rose's cell. Rose was still fast asleep, which was unlike her, but she was probably exhausted from being awake nearly all the time. Will slid the food into her cell. I watched carefully, trying to see in the dim light and completely ignoring my breakfast. Rose still wasn't waking up. Maybe she was ignoring him? "Rose? Hey, are you alright? I have your food here." Will called out anxiously. "Rose, come on." Will went into her cell this time. I tensed up, watching them nervously. This was really unlike Rose.... "Hey, Rose? You okay?" I couldn't see them very well at all, but Rose wasn't moving. She seemed unable to support herself at the moment. Will suddenly got up with Rose in his arms and started to take her away. I immediately started to panic.

"Hey, Hey! Where are you going with her! Don't touch her! Rose!" I screamed and clawed at the bars of my cell, trying to get to Rose. I couldn't let him take her. There was no way in hell that was happening.

"She's sick, Myra! I need to help her! Trust me, she has a fever and she can barely stay conscious." I felt my heart almost stop for a second. Will was now closer to my cell and I could see Rose, her eyes barely open and dull. Will bit his lip nervously and started to walk off again.

"If you hurt her, it'll be the last thing you ever do, Bandanna Boy." I threatened, knowing there was nothing I could do to stop him while he took my best friend down a dark hallway and out of my sight. All I could do was panic. I paced my cell, following a repetitive pattern, occasionally scratching at the bars. I needed to make sure Rose was okay, but as far as I could tell there was no way out. I couldn't tell how long it had been, but it had probably been around a half an hour later when I heard footsteps again. I perked up instantly, hoping it'd be Rose. It wasn't. Damian came into the light, a grim look on his face and a long, sharp needle in his hands. I flattened myself back in a corner and prepared myself to use my uneaten food as a weapon.

"Come on, Myra. This will be quick, I promise." Damian coaxed me, pulling down his bandanna and hood.

"What'd you do with Rose? Where is she?!" I growled at him.

"She's with Will. Why didn't you eat? You know you need to eat in order for me to help you, Myra." Damian scolded, noticing the untouched food next to me.

"I don't need your help." I snapped. Why won't he tell me about Rose?! I have to know if she's okay. I have to know now. She's my responsibility. My best friend. I can't lose anyone else. I-I... I don't know what would happen to me...

"Well I think you do. Now do you want me to do what I did yesterday? Or are you gonna make this easy for me like a nice person?" I could sense Damian's annoyance, but all it did was infuriate me.

"Since when do you treat me like a person? You have me locked up in a cage!" I screeched, feeling anger run like lightning through my veins. I had to restrain myself from using my powers, but I came dangerously close a few times.
